Do you like cats? Do you see a fat chonky cat and just wanna rub them? Like cookie clicker style games to run in the background? then Chonkers is for you. We played 1234 hours and just got our final cat of the collection.

There isn't much about this game other than having it in the background. Sure you can click the "distractions" in order to gain more money and get more cats but other than that there isn't anything else to do. Don't get me wrong, it's a really cute game with a bunch of cat breeds that I absolutely love but as I said before it's mostly to have on screen while you're doing something else. I think it is pretty decent if you like cats and want to collect them without putting too much effort.

Das Sammeln der Katzen ist am Anfang ganz nett, aber später fehlt einem die Langzeitmotivation einfach. Eine der zwei täglichen Aufgaben ist es immer das Spiel 1 Stunde zu spielen, wodurch man es einfach nur ne Stunde laufen lässt, da es nicht so viel zu tun gibt. Also man das Spiel keine Stunde aktiv zocken kann. Hintergründe für die Räume habe ich mir später dazu gekauft im Steam-Communitymarkt, weil ich als Belohnung für die Erledigung der täglichen Aufgaben immer nur EXP-Boost bekommen habe. Fazit: Kann man für ein paar Stunden spielen, aber mehr auch nicht.

super fun idle game!! there's not a TON to do since it is an idler, but for what there is, i spend a decent amount of time in game! so fun.

My only complaint is that in order to get all of the achievements, you have to click 20k distractions. It's obviously doable, but so unfun

It's cute, but lacks a lot of depth. I would recommend it for people who like idle games if it is on sale, otherwise no. It's repetitive and grindy to unlock things. I still haven't unlocked any room styles because completing the tasks only gives a chance to get them. The tasks aren't really engaging, and will be things like 'Play for 1 hour'... there isn't really anything useful to do in that 1 hour as it's an idle game with not much user input, so you just have to leave it on in the background to complete that task, which I'm sure is only there to boost the game's analytics/playtimes. I pretty much just check in every few days, sell, buy, repeat. But it features a lot of different cat breeds and they are all cute, so I still want to complete it.

Very slow to get through everything.... plus them fat ass cats ate all my food :(

It's a really fun idle/creature collector game, and the progression is definitely much less tedious than in many other games of the same genre. [b]However[/b], the achievement that requires you to complete [b][i]20,000 distractions[/i][/b] is absolutely ridiculous. Achievements where you just have to do something repetitive and mind-numbing over and over again should honestly be banned altogether, and [u]whoever decided to add this one should probably go see a specialist[/u]...

If you love cats and collecting and relaxing clicker/idle games this is perfect for you. Adorable art style and progression feels satisfying. Fun to collect the variants and is fun mix and matching the furniture. I got while it was on sale and already feel I got my monies worth after over 30hrs of gameplay. Love the settings options to be more accommodating to people. Cute sound effects. Usually play with my own music in the background. Like the variety in the daily task. Runs smoothly.
