I just completed this game, took me over 8 hours. But all I can say is its worth it!
10/10 loved the story so much! cannot wait for the next one!
Finally got round to live streaming! I had a lot of fun with this one. It has unique moments. Certain parts of each dream had it's own difficulty. My favourite was Grandma's House & last part of St Anthony's even though both took me goodness how many attempts. I am glad to see Into the darkness! I'll be keeping an eye on that one too. You have my full support! Here is my playthrough https://youtube.com/live/W3s57n_Qafk
Everyone who actually owned a Chester bunny when they were little knows this game was a reality and brings back all the scary memories and fun they use to have! That being said this game is so HAWT that i saw a bird blow on a worm before he ate it! Furthermore this game is simple, smooth, and has some challenging puzzles to solve. Also like that after you solve a puzzle that the door remains open so that you don't completely have to start over. Job well done! This game is like a mystery room at the mall but the mall is a haunted cemetary with scare tactics from the show ghost adventures but with paranormal activity like productions from the blair witch projects of i know what you did last summer at crystal lake where jason vorhees has nightmares with freddy krueger in them.
I have to start with stating, "Not my kind of game" Try it yourself and see if you like it. The Good: -Pretty game Graphically -Great audio quality -Good story The Bad: -*Monotonous* -Repetitive -Keybindings are not my style -Disdain motion blur (I understand why the Dev kept it as it contributes to the atmosphere) -Audio cues and quick time events can be a little much (repetitive) I would consider it a game that is tedious. Time limited puzzles with a tight window to complete the challenge, (memorize the timings and paths) do it over and over until you complete. I would say if you like to practice speed running, finding the most efficient route, this game is for you, never stop running, no need for walking! I made it to level 3 part 2, and saw what it would take to memorize the pattern for completion of that part of the game. Looked like it would take about an hour to prefect the run. Decided not to proceed with the game, and went for the refund. Not my kind of game, but don't let that stop you from trying it to see for yourself.
The light mechanic durin' Dream 1 turned me off the game. If it was a straight up story about a kid and his killer toy then fine but of course they add a bit of nonsense (light mechanic) to the gameplay. I'm mid thumb to this one. Check out the gameplay here: https://youtu.be/ls1IO-1Vmtg
Took a LONG time to get to this, but the game is phenomenal. Even just getting into the first chapter I was terrified, and every chapter is different from the last. There's hours and hours of gameplay and I haven't finished the final chapter yet but it's looming over my shoulder... Would definitely recommend this game to anyone who's gotten tired of the same old thing. The game is very fun, it gives you good scares and puts you on the edge with constant suspense, do I recommend it? Yes, with my eyes closed. Things that could be improved, I can only highlight two things: The first one may be skill issues on my part, but the fourth dream was too difficult for me, that minute with the mini chester and the door were eternal, but that doesn't mean that I didn't love it, in fact I liked that each dream had different mechanics and in the end I got through the level and that's what matters. The second thing is an accessibility issue, because I'm not a native English speaker, I understand it, I can write it and read it, but I have a hard time hearing it, so I've always relied on the subtitle to reaffirm what I hear in games, it's not that the game has bad dialogues, but that I have a hard time understanding what is said in it, in any case I liked James' voice. I look forward to the sequel, while I will play the other games from the developer.
I love this game,it's very difficult and different in a good way. Hope the dev can add more content because it's a wonderful job. Sell me a DLC!
非常棒的游戏,可玩性很高期待第二部出个中文字幕
