About
Chess Flicks reinvents chess with physics-based gameplay. Instead of moving pieces traditionally, you flick them using a cue stick mechanic — drag back to aim, release to fire.
GAMEPLAY
• Click a piece to select it
• Drag your mouse backward to aim — the further you drag, the more power
• Release to flick the piece in the aim direction
• Knock opponent pieces off the board to eliminate them
• Last player with pieces on the board wins
PIECE PHYSICS
Every piece has a unique weight and shape. Pawns are light and fly far. Rooks are heavy and hit hard. The King is the heaviest piece — protect it.
• Pawn — 0.3 (light, easy to send flying)
• Bishop — 2.0
• Knight — 2.5
• Rook — 3.0
• Queen — 5.0
• King — 6.0 (heaviest)
HIT ZONES
Where you click on a piece matters:
• Hit the TOP — piece tips and spins
• Hit the MIDDLE — balanced push
• Hit the BOTTOM — piece slides along the board
FEATURES
• Solo mode — practice against yourself, alternating sides
• LAN Multiplayer — host or join a game on your local network
• 5-second turn timer — no stalling
• Cinematic slow motion — when a player is down to their last piece, the camera zooms in for the final moment
• Hall of Fame — track your wins, losses and win rate
• Fully 3D physics with realistic piece weight distribution
• Thunderstorm skybox atmosphere
• Animated lobby with Chess Flicks artwork
