The largest commendation I can say is how the story is presented. Yes, slice of lifes may not be all that special but Chemically Bonded does present a scenario that can be relatable to a scale. Yes, there are some kids who have a dull school life, the whole area of top students, crushed friendships, and how to recover those friendships. Some may not relate and some are able to, but that's the beauty of it. 2. At first glance, the characters already give strong impressions directly giving a conflict upon the start, immediately grabbing your attention. They're both pretty special in their own ways, especially how they perceive trying to fix the main issue at hand, one wants to but doesn't know how and the other doesn't want to. That is how we get the development going and the character growth for everyone changes with each section. I think the biggest character growth would be for Naomi as she has to grow out of her defensive demeanor if she wants things to patch up between her and Kiyoko. 3. The voice acting (most of it) adds to the characters, I do give praise to Amber Barile doing an excellent job with Naomi and the same to their respective characters. I couldn't see anyone else being Naomi, Kiyoko, or Sae. 4. The music matches how the game is presented. It's calm, mellow with hints of brightness in them. Custom made, it definitely adds a lot of character to each scene it's implemented in. 5. The little bits with Sae added in some wholesome new life into the game once you've finished it entirely. It's worth the effort in completing both routes. The inclusion of Ceri from "Sounds of Her Love" is a nice fitting addition, even if it's just a small moment. 6. The small extras like small jokes in the glossary and story, along with the neat feature of the "Camera Mode" are welcomed additions. [b]Cons:[/b] 1. As someone who has completed this 100% and replayed a bit in off time, completing the true route and playing the other route feels a bit repetitive as it's extremely linear but just with slightly different factors. You would feel completed on the 1st route you successfully finished. 2. It may feel like a nuisance for some players to see the cookie cutter form of a tsundere, as Naomi is the embodiment of what the usual tsundere would be. She could have relied on being her own individual without the heavy reliance of the tsundere personality. Maybe slightly toned down in some scenarios. 3. The monologue can feel sophisticated an overwhelming amount of times, like it's a must to be added. If you asked me what line I remember the most, it would be about the Kiyoko's chocolate hair or Naomi's sea of blue in her eyes. This is fine if moderately used, but used too frequently can feel a bit much. 4. Some of the voice acting feels out of place from the rest. Mainly some of the teachers stand out from the other cast members due to mixing improperly 5. A handful of misspellings and some wording issues. [b]Conclusion:[/b] Chemically Bonded gives an entertaining story about pain and mending those who are hurt. ds-sans once again shows exceptional craftsmanship when creating this incredible experience. Outstanding harmony of visual design, music score, and writing. Kiyoko and Naomi are adorkable, I love them both! It's a little sober in places, and a little hammy in others. The voice acting is a welcome addition, but I feel detracts from the experience - so I disable it in the menu. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking to have their heartstrings gently tugged.

O jogo é bem simples e tem 4 finais. Achei que há um certo alongamento desnecessário com diálogos muitos semelhantes uns aos outros, as heroínas são ok, nada de muito especial, mas é bom. O jogo vale a pena ser jogado. Dou um 7,5/10

Some surprisingly bad Engrish, and the voices for some of the characters are...... interesting. But it's got a good premise so far, and I'm enjoying it. If you're a fan of VNs, you'll probably like this just fine.

Bush - The Chemicals Between Us

Romantic drama for younger audiences but well done. I liked the UI a lot, clearly much effort went into it in comparison with other renpy implementations I saw on steam. Story... well you need to see and judge by yourself I am too old to offer a valuable opinion on this one.

Good game i really enjoyed every second, Voice of one of the main characters became a little annoying at first, but it wasn't that bad. Overall 10/10

If I had to sum up my thoughts towards this VN in just two words, it'd be this: it's average. That's really as far as I can go - this is one of those games where I really wish Steam gave a neutral middle option instead of just being able to give something a thumbs-up or a thumbs-down. In the absence of such an option, I'll give it a tentative thumbs-up; Chemically Bonded isn't bad, but it's not exactly standout either. On the bright side, the art, visuals and character designs are fine - that's probably this VN's biggest strength. The soundtrack's decent too, though nothing special. The characters are okay and likeable enough, though once again they're nothing special. You have some of your usual archetypes, like the tsundere, the kuudere and the slightly ditzy girl. The story is okay - mainly it's about reconciling two old friends who've fallen apart, with a spice of romance later down the line. Again, nothing particularly special - if you're looking for heart-wrenching emotion, shocking plot twists or groundbreaking revelations, then Chemically Bonded isn't going to deliver on those. But if you just want a simple, wholesome story, then it might be able to scratch that particular itch. Now let's get on to the stuff where the game gets a bit weaker. Firstly, the voices; on the one hand, it is notable that all character lines (with the exception of the main character) are fully voice-acted. However, the voice acting is average to okay. Again: nothing special. There was one voice, however, which I wasn't so keen on: Kiyoko's. For a girl who is supposed to be eighteen, her VA's performance makes her sound like a ten-year-old. The other weakness in this VN is the pacing. There are times where the main character's internal monologues become just a little bit long-winded and repetitive. There's a balance that VN writers have to find between giving us clear glimpses of a character's internal thoughts, without it dragging on for too long. Unfortunately, Chemically Bonded does sometimes stray over the line. Some of the dialogue could have been trimmed in order to keep the pace moving, otherwise there are moments where the MC's repetition kind of slows things down unnecessarily. So with all that out the way, that's why this is a fairly average romance VN, in my eyes.

Bardzo ciekawa gra, z bardzo ciekawym plotem. Voice acting niestety nie na takim dobry poziomie, szczególnie postacie męskie jak i poboczne.
