This game is gorgeous and extremely fun. There is so much content for an early access game! I highly recommend.
Just a few suggestions that will make the gameplay better: - Please update the font of the dialogue to a more legible font, or I hope we have the option to change the font. The current font is hard to read and is stressing my eyes 😭 - There should be an option where the run toggle will not disable when we're foraging, hunting, etc. it's a bit annoying to keep toggling it on again and again after getting some veggies or fruits. - The loading (black screen) when entering another area is a bit long, I hope it will be a more smooth transition. Thank you!
An absolutely wonderful game!! So excited for the full release!! Managing the restaurant is addicting, the cooking minigames are fun (but I also appreciate that I can autocomplete the dishes now that my restaurant is bigger), and I LOVE the resource gathering! Upgrading your tools is very simple (just buy the better version), which is nice. I do not love the mining mechanic (it took me a while to realize you can increase the amount of ore in the mine, but even then the effort to output ratio seems off) and I'm also not too fond of using the machines to create/refine items. These are tied together because I have to mine to make the machines... but I don't want to mine...... It also feels like the machines take forever to finish. But these are personal preferences and mining isn't such a big thing that it hinders my experience. I wish there was an npc I could just buy the ore from like how you can buy ingredients or gather them (there probably is an npc somewhere..... but I do not know where.....). The art style is GORGEOUS!! There is so much care put into all of the settings and the character portraits are stunning! I love the little animations while talking to the characters. I also like the characters, I feel like they have sufficient depth for me to want to talk to them. And improving relationships is nice and straightforward. I LOVE the skill trees! I feel like the perks make noticeable improvements on my abilities. And because completing basically any tasks in the game helps improve your level/experience, the progression feels steady and natural. Overall, an excellent game!! I highly recommend it if you are looking for a cute, shop management style experience :)
Jogo muito legal, tem varios mini games para preparar os pratos, ainda tem como plantar, alguns npc tem como ter coraçoes para ter relacionamento, por mais que esta em acesso antecipado, vale a pena pq tem muito conteudo p jogar
This game is really fun. A good mix of farming sim and cooking sim. My favourite part is gathering. The only thing I would improve would be to have some exclusive crops that you could only gather during certain seasons.
As someone who loves hoarding materials in games and collects everything eyes can see, I adore chef rpg. The game feels little off beat, needs work on smooth experience as a player but overall its amazing, the recipes are amazing. theres all kinds of options for what kind of chef i want to become. its not limited till a restaurant management game but more than that. I love spending time in game. its relaxing, unique and really fun to play.
This is already my favourite game I've ever played. An incredibly rich game with so much depth. I bought it full price and it was 150% worth the money. YOU WILL NOT REGRET BUYING THIS GAME. I adore every aspect of it but something that really stands out is the unique gameplay (it is NOT just another farming sim). And there's still so much more to come (and that has been released since I last played - I stopped because I accidentally lost the entire contents of my fridge). Looking forward to starting again.
If you like games like Stardew valley, you will love this also. You gather and buy ingredients to make your menu better for your restaurant. Super fun, would recommend to anyone!
I really enjoyed playing the game! As someone who had never played a game like Stardew Valley before, it felt fresh and fun. Since the game is still in Early Access, I'd like to share a few suggestions. One of my favorite parts of the game was the festivals, restaurant management and decoration, recipe research with its huge variety of dishes, the business management aspect, and the romance system. For romance, I wish there were more freedom. Although I like that romance isn't restricted by gender, it's a little disappointing that players can only date one person. It would be nice if polyamorous relationships were also possible. I also think relationships would feel more meaningful if affection gradually decreased when characters were neglected. Dating itself feels quite limited and mostly ends after a few events. Since this is Chef RPG, it would be fun to cook together during dates, cook for your partner, have restaurant dates, or complete cooking-related quests that are unique to each character. Increasing affection also feels a bit too easy, so giving different characters different romance difficulty levels could make it more rewarding. Finally, this is completely subjective, but I personally found the romanceable characters' designs a little disappointing. Aloy was the only one I found particularly attractive. The bath bomb feature is a nice detail, but it currently has no gameplay purpose. It would be great if changing the bath water provided a bonus, such as restoring stamina. Stamina and health also feel too generous. Even after a lot of mining and hunting, I almost never run out of stamina before midnight, so food is rarely necessary except in emergencies. Considering how many dishes and drinks the game offers, it would be nice if food played a more important role. The alcohol brewing system also feels more complicated than it needs to be. There are too many different machines, and the process takes a long time. Simplifying it would make the system much easier to understand. The pet system could also use some improvements. Cats and dogs currently just exist in the house without much interaction. It would be nice to at least check their condition or happiness. Right now they don't even need to eat, which makes them feel less alive. I would also love to take the train to a larger city, explore a new area, and buy items that aren't available in the main town. Finally, movement can sometimes feel unclear, especially around stairs where it's difficult to tell where to walk. Furniture placement could also be improved. Chairs can be rotated, but many other furniture items cannot. Overall, I had a great time playing and I'm excited to see how the game develops. Thank you for making such a fun experience!
Really fun and engaging gameplay loop, and lots of freedom to play the game how you want!
