Maybe I missed the point, but this game is not fun, nor is it remotely like chess.

Lovely But Glaring problems PROS - Cute Cosmetics are great - Fun (Especially with friends [but i don't have any]) - Simple to understand CONS - Priced a little too high for what it is (recommend $5) - Good luck ever finding someone to play with online - At least in my opinion sometimes it feels like they should've been hit an aren't Conclusion: I really enjoyed it for a bit but I 100% the game in 92 minutes. cant wait to see more from the devs or even some updates I even have a couple of ideas for gamemodes if the devs were interested in making some updates

Super fun game to play with a friend! Once you master a little bit the main mechanics, it becomes very satisfying! And I love the art of the main characters! :D

Checkmate Kings è una piacevole sorpresa partorita dalla mente di un gruppo di ragazzi indubbiamente appassionati di game design, oltre che di videogiochi in sé. L’idea di implementare su un frenetico twin stick shooter delle meccaniche provenienti da uno dei giochi più “calmi” e riflessivi di sempre potrebbe sembrare illogica solo a pensarla… Eppure il team di Tall Grass Games è riuscito egregiamente nel suo intento, esordendo sul mercato con un piccolo, grande titolo. Venduto probabilmente a qualche euro di troppo, ma irrinunciabile per qualunque giocatore alla ricerca di qualcosa con cui divertirsi. Possibilmente con amici. The price is too high for a game like this. It lacks any sort of chess-like strategy and it's disappointing to see this game not get any updates to improve its gameplay after following its development for more than a year.

Mało wymagająca, w grze z komputerem każdą postacią gra się tak samo, więc różnice są tylko jeśli chodzi o grafikę, która jest ładna i dopracowana. Ale sama rozgrywka starcza na krótko

Very fun 1v1 bullet hell game with a chess theme

this game has really awful multiplayer controller issues. When trying to play offline couch play between two people, for some reason it will register both player 1 and player 2 as just... player 1. I can't play against another person at all, and we tried changing controllers, going into options, and restarting the game. Strongly don't recommend this game if you're looking for a local multiplayer experience.

For being their first game it's really cool and fun! The rules are simple and intuitive. With friends it becomes even more interesting, and if you have a competitive spirit you will certainly have a great time! The graphics are great and the stuff is very open to suggestions and bug fixies! 100% recommended
