Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 31 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Gra robi dobre pierwsze wrażenie i początkowo zachwyca grafiką. Mamy więc taki dziwny kontrast: Z jednej strony ładna i fotorealistyczna grafika, a z drugiej kiepskie animacje, takie sobie modele wrogów i statyczne wypełniacze, które psują odbiór całości.
Game have a good atmosphere and sometimes visual. But everything else is pretty bad. Main problem is absolutely terrible controls.
Chasmal Fear is a creepy, intense survival horror game that totally nails the vibe. The bodycam perspective makes it feel super immersive, like you're really there in the abandoned underwater facility. The tension is real, between the limited resources and unpredictable monsters, you’re always ALWAYS on edge. I highly suggest reading through the ingame emails on those computers scattered throughout the levels, the lore is suprisingly very deep and detailed. I haven't tried the co-op mode yet, but I trust it will quite exiting challenges and funny/scary memories with my buddy.
Nicly built. Great atmosphere. Limited ammo and healthcare stations. Very limited save points - yes... SAVE POINTS ! Welcome back to the early 2000s. -_- And as if this is not enough you get killed by mutants that run fast and take more than one shot to kill. You are left with zero chance. That is really bad gameplay design. So you get damaged and damaged again with no healing station in sight until you are dead. And because you can't save the game you will have to play parts of it again and again and again. WHAT A (R4P !!! Even if you can get it for free, you will still lose lifetime on this garbage. Avoid it.
Chasmal Fear, developed by MystiveDev and published by Wandering Wizard, is a first-person survival horror experience that builds its identity around tension, vulnerability, and a strong sense of environmental dread. Set within a deteriorating underwater research facility, the game places players in a confined and hostile space where survival depends as much on caution and planning as it does on reflexes. Rather than leaning into fast-paced action, it emphasizes a slower, more deliberate style of play that aligns closely with classic survival horror design. From the beginning, the game makes it clear that you are not meant to feel powerful. Resources are limited, ammunition is scarce, and every encounter carries risk. Exploration becomes a careful balancing act between curiosity and self-preservation, as venturing into new areas may yield valuable supplies but also expose you to unpredictable threats. The layout of the facility encourages backtracking and familiarity, but the sense of safety is never guaranteed, as previously explored areas can become dangerous again under certain conditions. One of the more distinctive elements of Chasmal Fear is its approach to enemy behavior. Defeating enemies does not always mean eliminating them permanently, as certain conditions can cause them to return in more dangerous forms. This mechanic adds a layer of tension that lingers beyond individual encounters, forcing players to think about the long-term consequences of their actions. While the idea is compelling and reinforces the game’s themes of instability and decay, its execution can feel uneven, occasionally creating frustration when outcomes seem unpredictable rather than strategic. The game also experiments with variability in how situations unfold. Encounters can shift depending on player choices or environmental factors, and certain elements are randomized to keep each playthrough from feeling entirely scripted. This unpredictability helps maintain tension, as players cannot rely solely on memorization to progress. However, these systems do not always have a strong impact on the overall structure, sometimes feeling more like minor variations than fully realized dynamic features. Visually, Chasmal Fear stands out through its use of a bodycam-style perspective and detailed environmental design. The underwater facility is depicted with a focus on confined spaces, dim lighting, and a constant sense of disrepair. This presentation enhances immersion, making the environment feel oppressive and immediate. At the same time, the camera style can be a double-edged sword, as its shakiness and restricted field of view occasionally make navigation and combat less precise than they could be. Atmosphere is where the game consistently succeeds. The combination of sound design, lighting, and environmental storytelling creates a persistent sense of unease. Quiet moments are filled with distant mechanical noises and subtle audio cues, building tension without relying heavily on sudden scares. The setting itself—isolated, submerged, and unstable—adds to this effect, making the environment feel as much like an adversary as the enemies within it. Despite these strengths, the game struggles in areas related to mechanical refinement. Combat can feel awkward, with movement and weapon handling lacking smoothness. Enemy encounters, while initially tense, can become repetitive over time, especially when patterns begin to repeat. Technical inconsistencies and pacing issues occasionally interrupt the experience, reminding players of the gap between the game’s ambitious ideas and its execution. The narrative is presented in a fragmented way, relying on scattered logs and environmental clues rather than direct storytelling. This approach fits the tone of isolation and mystery, but it can also make the story feel underdeveloped. While the premise is intriguing, it doesn’t always come together in a way that feels fully satisfying, leaving some elements open without enough context to make them impactful. An optional cooperative mode adds an alternative way to experience the game, allowing players to tackle its challenges with a partner. This changes the dynamic significantly, reducing the sense of isolation but introducing a more tactical approach to survival. While it adds variety, it also shifts the tone away from pure horror toward a more shared, less oppressive experience. In the end, Chasmal Fear is a game driven by strong ideas and a clear vision of what it wants to achieve. Its emphasis on atmosphere, vulnerability, and unpredictability creates moments of genuine tension, but its lack of polish in key systems prevents it from fully realizing its potential. For players who value immersive environments and are willing to overlook mechanical roughness, it offers a compelling and occasionally memorable experience. For others, its inconsistencies may make it harder to fully appreciate what it attempts to do. Rating: 6/10
