About
Chasing Her Light is an emotional survival-adventure game about loss, memory, and the bond between man and dog.
After losing his wife in a tragic car accident, a man escapes the chaos of the city and retreats to a remote forest cabin — his only companion being the dog she gifted him shortly before her death. But one day, the dog vanishes into the wilderness. Now, armed only with an axe and fading warmth, he journeys deep into the snow-covered forest to find her… and perhaps, a piece of himself.
Key Features:
🌲 Progressive Tree-Cutting System – Trees don’t fall in one hit. Chop through multiple stages with visual feedback at every step.
🐾 Search for Your Dog – Each tree you cut brings you closer to your lost companion, and deeper into the forest.
🔥 Heat Management – The forest is cold and unforgiving. Stay warm by building fires and managing your heat bar wisely.
🪓 Upgradeable Axes – Improve your axe to cut faster and reach areas previously blocked by denser trees.
🎒 Resource Gathering & Economy – Collect and sell wood or rare pinecones to afford upgrades.
🏠 Survival in Isolation – Your cabin is your only refuge. Keep your fire alive or freeze to death in the wild.
Chasing Her Light is a quiet, deeply personal journey — a story of healing in the heart of a frozen wilderness.

Pretty sure everything about this game is AI generated. The assets and textures sure are, the store desc 100% is, at least one of the discussion pages is, and given that the UI broke within 2 minutes of starting the game, I'm guessing the code itself is too. If you're looking for AI slop, don't bother with this - you can get it for free instead.
I liked the game and it in a way never expected :D. If you like faction style stuff you will definitely like it. It has a calm and nice atmosphere. I recommend you to play it. Congrats!
I played the demo during Next Fest, but I couldn’t spend much time with it because the atmosphere and the trees didn’t really feel cohesive, and there was no option to change the resolution. However, today I wanted to buy it since it released in full. I played without getting bored, and it’s exactly the same game as in the video.
The game is incredibly chill and enjoyable I can't wait for the full release! :)
I gave this game a chance and I was satisfied. I think it is a calm and nice game that you can play in your spare time.
I honestly didn’t expect much at first but damn this game surprised me the gameplay is super easy to get into nothing confusing or stressful its chill when you want to relax but it can also get challenging at the right moments.
cokiyioyun.
Atmosphere and story of 'Chasing Her Light' definitely pull you in and make you get hooked on the game. I really like the Minecraft-style rustic trees and the character's depressive vibe. It's a game with a lot of potential, and I'm excited to see how it develops.
The game has great potential if the developers keep improving it, the full release could be really good. Some visual improvements are definitely needed, but overall, I liked it.
Oyun çoook eğlenceli, tam kafa dinlemelik, sakin ve bir o kadarda eğlenceli.
