Chaostower - Build and defend, a physics-based action puzzler. Build a tower from a whole bunch of different parts and prove it against several natural forces like earthquakes, wind and meteors. Defend your tower against artificial enemies, like robots, tanks, bomb-birds and many more.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 8 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

ChaosTower, developed and published by CashcowGames, is a physics-driven construction game that merges structural engineering with survival challenges, creating an experience that sits somewhere between a puzzle game and a light tower defense. On the surface, the objective is simple: build a tower that can stand. In practice, the game quickly reveals itself to be a balancing act between stability, resource efficiency, and resilience against increasingly chaotic threats. The gameplay centers on assembling towers from a selection of components, each with its own physical properties and limitations. Players must carefully consider how pieces connect, how weight is distributed, and how the overall structure will respond under pressure. Once built, the tower is subjected to a range of destructive forces, from environmental hazards like strong winds and seismic activity to direct attacks from hostile units. This dual pressure forces players to think beyond basic construction, as a design that is structurally sound may still fail if it cannot withstand external threats. Physics plays a crucial role in shaping the experience. Towers behave in a reactive and often unforgiving way, with even minor imbalances leading to instability. This creates a constant sense of tension, as players are never entirely certain whether their design will hold up until it is tested. The process of trial and error becomes central, with each failure offering insight into how to improve the next attempt. While this can be satisfying for players who enjoy experimentation, it can also be frustrating when small mistakes lead to complete collapse. Adding to the complexity is the inclusion of defensive mechanics. Players can equip their structures with various tools to repel incoming enemies, transforming the game into a hybrid of construction and defense. These elements require attention during the action phase, as players must not only rely on their tower’s design but also actively manage threats. This combination of building and defense adds variety to the gameplay, though it also increases the cognitive load, especially in later levels where multiple challenges occur simultaneously. The game offers a series of levels that gradually introduce new conditions and objectives. Some scenarios focus on reaching a certain height, while others emphasize survival against waves of enemies or enduring environmental stress. This variety helps keep the experience engaging, but the underlying mechanics remain largely unchanged. Over time, the repetition of similar challenges can reduce the sense of novelty, as players rely on familiar strategies to overcome new variations of the same problems. Visually, ChaosTower adopts a clean and functional style that prioritizes clarity. Structures are easy to read, and the effects of environmental forces are clearly communicated, which is essential for a game built around physics. While the presentation lacks detail and visual flair, it serves its purpose effectively, ensuring that players can quickly understand what is happening to their creations. The audio design complements this approach, providing feedback without drawing attention away from the core gameplay. One of the game’s strengths is its ability to combine multiple ideas into a cohesive experience. The interplay between construction, physics, and defense creates a unique loop that feels distinct from more traditional puzzle games. However, this combination is not always perfectly balanced. Certain levels can feel restrictive, limiting the range of viable solutions and reducing the freedom that the building system initially suggests. This can make the experience feel more like solving a predefined problem than exploring creative possibilities. Replay value is somewhat limited, as the game does not introduce significant new systems beyond its initial mechanics. While players can revisit levels to refine their designs or achieve better outcomes, there is little incentive to do so once the main challenges have been completed. The focus remains on mastering the existing systems rather than expanding them. In the end, ChaosTower is a thoughtful and occasionally demanding game that rewards careful planning and persistence. Its blend of physics-based construction and defensive gameplay offers a fresh take on familiar concepts, even if it does not fully explore the potential of its ideas. For players who enjoy experimenting with structures and overcoming challenging scenarios, it provides a satisfying, if sometimes frustrating, experience. For others, its restrictive elements and repetition may limit its long-term appeal. Rating: 7/10
