This side-scrolling shooter features six stages themed after cities around the world.
The super-variable robot “Estique” can transform at any time between the “Fighter Form,” which has a small vertical hitbox, and the “Robot Form,” which nullifies terrain damage and excels at recovery. Mastering the strategic switching between these two forms and two types of equipment is key to clearing the game. Furthermore, the scoring system utilizing the “Super Weapon” special attack—activated by rapid-firing the shot button—adds depth to the gameplay.
With a life system that regenerates over time and the removal of power-ups, the game design prioritizes accessibility. A strategic shooting experience awaits you, enjoyable for everyone from beginners to advanced players.
In the year 2413, the Earth was invaded by evil space pirates “Van-De-Raus”. They are dominating 5 big economic cities and taking control of the world economy.
Friendly planet, Petelgeuse, decided to save the Earth from space pirates and send reinforcement. Ace pirots, Mary and Kanon, ride on ESTIQUE and now launching to the Earth. Mary, you must be the messiah of the Earth. A tomorrow winner is you!

A game primarily about resource management, just as much as it is about dodging bullets at least. You'll be shifting your priorities away from saving your bombs as get-out-of-jail-free hypers for survival as you memorize the stages, instead opting to rely on the trickier to use but higher scoring 'wave cannon' esque attack which nets more resources in the long run and greater opportunities to earn points. What's important to note is that there are no extends in this game, not in the traditional sense. It's game over after being shot down just once (although you're allowed to continue either from the beginning of the stage or the boss if you've reached it). Every 80,000 points, however, will give you the opportunity to refill your bomb stock and restore some of your shield bar instantly. Difficulty begins to thaw with aggressive and confident play and rewards you with a seat near the top of the online scoreboard. Without getting into the other differences between the two changeable forms and the different weapons, there's already quite a bit going on here for a Famicom title. And speaking of which, the game looks and plays great considering the hardware it was designed for. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the difficulty slump come stage 5 after the absolute gauntlet of the previous stage is a bit of a disappointment, but I never found myself bored or completely unchallenged. Stage 6 picks it back up anyways. Absolutely recommended.

せっかくタイトルイメージを飾ってはいるがロボはロマン 当たらなければどうということはない。と某少佐がおっしゃってるとおり ロボ形態のメリットがイマイチなんで正直常時ファイター形態のほうが楽かも。 スーパーウェポンもファイター形態のほうが撃ち込みは強い。 あとザコラッシュ中のSWでのスコア稼ぎは中々に小気味がいいです。
Un shmup muy simpático y bien pensado, asequible y agradable de jugar, que además te anima a puntuar cada vez mejor. Exprime las posibilidades de ser un juego de NES al máximo, y el sistema de cambio de forma está muy bien pensado.

Good game
It's a really good NES homebrew. For my personal tastes, it's second only to Gun Nac on that platform. It's simple and good. Nice presentation. The super weapon mechanic is fun and well-implemented. The difficulty is fairly balanced. My only disappointment is that the transforming mechanic didn't feel very important.
