Chance at Life

J'ai vraiment bien aimé ! Pour ceux qui ont déjà joué à Pacify ou à certains autres jeux utilisant le même asset, l'environnement sera familier, mais perso j'adore ce manoir alors ça ne m'a pas dérangée. L'atmosphère était très réussie, beaucoup de jumpscares et je kiffe ça, et pour le reste, le déroulé classique d'un jeu d'horreur indé : notes qui expliquent l'histoire, clés à trouver, quelques puzzles accessibles. Ça aurait été cool par contre d'avoir une petite cinématique pour la fin, j'ai trouvé que l'approche proposée nous sortait un peu trop brutalement de l'immersion, mais en dehors de ça, j'ai vraiment apprécié ce jeu. Je recommande !

I get very spooked by horror games and while I had a lot of spooked screams while playing this game it was still enjoyable. It was jump scare based which helped with the anxiety I have in other games when I'm running for my life in some situations. I enjoyed that each part of the puzzles was contained to a certain area and clues are noticeable which help prevent you from running around the house looking for some minor detail. The biggest drawback was the lack of voice acting, there was times where I was so focused on what was going on in the game that I'd miss something said by the character which could help me on my current task. The game also didn't size right to my monitor so it took some time fiddling around with the resolution settings to get it just right each time I started up the game.
