About
To all Relay Broadcast personnel: your work saves lives. Thank you for your service.
You play as Asha — a forensic psychologist, a Tuner: the Order's name for a specialist who reaches broken minds through sound. Alone at a broadcast station, you see five patients a day, twelve days straight. Each one is accused of a crime they can't remember committing. They show up scared, confused, and unable to piece their own memories together. Your only company is D.I.O., a station AI who reads the charges and narrates your reports.
A Tuner works with sound. Your instrument is the station's mood equalizer — three frequencies you dial in at the touch of a button. Comfort makes patients feel safe and talkative. Pressure makes them defensive — but what slips through is often what matters most. Clarity makes them logical and precise, but emotionally shut down. The frequency you set determines which conversation topics open up and how the patient behaves. You are not only listening — you are tuning them, and they will not feel it happen. You can switch anytime, but every switch has a cost — and you can only switch three times per patient. Choose carefully.
You interview your patients. As memories surface, you place fragments on your evidence board wherever you think they fit. The same detail can be proof of innocence or evidence of guilt depending on where you put it. Some fragments arrive corrupted — damaged before you ever got to hear them. You work with what's left, connect the dots, and stamp the case: APPROVE for recovery, or CENSOR — and the case leaves your station for good. You are not told where it goes.
The Order monitors your progress. As you prove yourself, new protocols arrive — expanding your responsibilities and the tools at your disposal. Collect resonance artifacts as you go and select them from your console monitor to recolor the station's score.
The station you manage on day twelve will look nothing like the one you started with. Neither will you.
