CAVE VR

This is a Chinese game if I'm correct. Unfortunately not all signs have been translated leaving you guessing. But language is the least of this game's massive amount of problems. This is simply the worst VR experience I've had in years, lol - it really is pure trash and should never have been published. This does not even qualify as alpha software. First this game only supports Rift Cv1, but devs must be intellectually challenged, because they did not support native Oculus drivers. I plugged in my Oculus CV1 only to find out that SteamVR started, so no Oculus SDK support. Then tried with the Index and I'm using an oc'ed RTX 3090 and i9 10900K (10cores/20threads) - the game does work with Index. Then again this game does not work, even scaling down to res 100% performance was about 30 fps. You'll need that RTX 5090 Ti for this game, lol. In short - avoid at al costs - this game should never have been published. It simply does not work.

'CAVE VR' is a small, but beautiful adventure game in which you will be exploring magic caves and solving puzzles. You get about via free movement, no teleport and no snap turning, but I still managed OK even in a wheelchair. To be fair to the developer the game looks really good, but I did notice some blurring as I moved about even on my RTX 3090. While the game is short (about 30 minutes of gameplay) it does have a certain charm about it. Maybe it's the small price or the simple puzzles, I did enjoy playing it from start to finish, but that finish point came far too quickly and the ending was very unsatisfying.
