It is good game
This was an amazing game. The puzzles are fun and the game itself is addicting.
Hunt, date, have kittens, fight, explore caves, sleep for 12 hours straight, even swim and get all 420 on catnip. I would regard this game as unmissable for any cat-lover

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Accessibilty is bad. I cannot play this game without my wrist issues flaring up. The map is huge and you need to walk ALL the time, the sprint is on a 30 sec cooldown. If you could use wasd and the arrows to walk I'd at least be able to alternate but you can't. Point and click would be another option that isn't in the game. In addition to needing to walk all the time to build your territory the time is also constantly running out and without activities that isn't walking, hitting, and picking things up there's no break other than when your cat sleeps. There's also no fast travel to get back into your den so you have to walk back. If you have wrist pain I recommend avoiding this game.
This is such a great game! It reminds me of the Warrior Cats series by Erin Hunter, but it's also got Stardew Valley vibes, with having to offer items to bring back the Forest Spirit. 100% recommend to anyone who loves the cozy genre.
good
It could improve on some things, but you get to play as a cat, so it's a good game anyway.
Text Review: Pros: -Great, calming music (Saxophone heavy and it works very well) -Creates a nice, mysterious world out of workaday, human elements and some rare unique natural elements to break up the swathes of open nature -Great cat fetishism without the gross bits - great for cat lovers if there are no meows -Nice, simple hunting and foraging mechanics (Even simple puzzles that shake things up a bit) Maybes: -Very litle story (Not even relationship cutscenes as far as I could tell). Some cat dialogue can endear you to them but the cats lack personality to an extent -Lumbering, simple combat that means you'll be hurt a lot and need to heal (Fun if you like methodical combat and conquering territory... for some purpose). The ability to crete a faction is nice too but late game -Very stripped down farm sim (Nothing goes that deep) that is quick and not complex -Underwhelming Pixelart (Straight ridges and realistic cats) Video Review: https://youtu.be/PeJCuvKj9mM
I had played this on the Switch Lite before the device broke down. This game is very enjoyable and one that you can take at your own pace. It does not take long for you to become a pro and remember where everything is and what you need in order to progress. You will come across some cats to fight for territory but with enough upgrades this becomes quite a simple task. Make friends, find a mate, decorate your den and have little kittens. The sales for this game are very good. I would recommend giving it a try. The trailer shows off the game quite well. You can do some puzzles, mining, partake in little festivals and even customise your colony as an endgame reward. It is a nice treat as I have been feeling quite starved for animal simulation games. The last decent ones I can think of was WolfQuest and Dog's Life(PS2). I do prefer the kitties though~
I love this game so much, it is unreal. I admit it starts off a bit slow, but once I got my cat's stats up enough to start doing the daily board tasks it started to pick up! At first I wasn't totally sure what to do with my little cat life, but the quest board provides great direction. I had a grand time familiarizing myself with the map, mechanics, and all the other cats! The community guides are also really great. I had a tough time with some of the power paw puzzles but the guides helped in that regard. I love the characters and the gameplay is fun! I'd recommend this game, it's a lovely time and I had a lot of fun playing it. I have yet to play wildwood story but I'm very excited to do so!
