Cat Powered UFO

One of the best games I played 2022. 10/10 would collect cats again.

I do video reviews but summary below https://youtu.be/1PW7BnW19wI I expected not to like this at all but I freaking love it. This game is so goofy it's really hard not to chuckle at it. I didn't have any laugh out loud moments but I did enjoy the game with a smile. You never know what to expect next. Cat Powered UFO is good, one of those oddities you come across every once in a while and wonder why it didn't take off. Some of the sequences do drag on a little too long but nothing to turn me away. After helping my wife escape capture I even considered collecting all the cats. This is a short budget game that I really enjoyed and I recommend it to anyone.

Cat Powered UFO é um RPG cujo você toma o controle de um Alien... o ultimo de sua espécie... E um dia, sua esposa é sequestrada. Por sorte, você possui uma nave movida a gatos, e assim começa a jornada mais zuera que pode imaginar [spoiler] kkkk [/spoiler]. [h1] Cada ação de luta é resolvida com mini-games :D [/h1] Como todo bom RPG de turnos, quando você encontra uma batalha, você deve escolher entre varias ações em seu turno como atacar, desrespeitar ou até mesmo se motivar para conseguir vantagens contra o inimigo. Cada uma dessas ações depende de um mini-game único, podendo falhar (e até mesmo receber dano) caso não consiga vencer o mini-game. Os inimigos também escolhem oque fazer podendo tentar fazer uma ação aleatória (que podem ou não fazer efeito na batalha) ou atacar (oque gera um mini-game que te dá a chance de desviar do ataque). Recomendo [/h1] Esse jogo é Hilario, a comedia, quebra de quarta parede e a quantidade de absurdos vale apena, o jogo tem 5 horas de duração, que eu acho que vale apena pelo preço que o jooj cobra, o jogo ainda conta com um modo Hardcore que pode render bastante tentativas. Enfim, acho que vale a pena :)

Fun and entertaining, but 4th wall in my room was totally destroyed. So I'm little bit stuck at frozen planet, but I will slap self soon and continue! This game deserves 10 self-slaps of 10 I suppose P.S. Love music. Love style (oddity must be complete, and it is!)

SUPER weird but if you like turn based rpgs, give it a spin.

I think games on Steam with a low amount of reviews generally aren't very good. This is however, an exception. Very creative and fun game. It probably takes like 4-6 hours depending on how many cats you collect. A lot of minigames during fights and they are all generally pretty good. Towards the end it gets quite a bit harder. There is a lot of RNG, so I think there needs to be a better way to farm chicken nuggets, which would allow players to get more items and more HP and damage.

Genuinely a fantastic game that deserves more attention! i love the art and its sense of humor a lot, and the combat is extremely well done. Certainly one of my favorite indie games ever, it just has so many fun ideas and handles them all really well. If you love weird, short games that never stop surprising you, this is one of the best there is.

Alright so i played this game on my first ever 24 hour charity stream, The developer (Super awesome guy BTW) comes in and asks me to play it and if i beat it he would donate to the charity, so I was like ok sick this helps kids, and its a random game lets do it. So i load up this game, not sure what to expect, I mean cmon cat powered UFO i was kinda skeptical but still did it! and you know what people go to games for graphics, and state of the art game play. But this game it gives you so much with out needing that, its simplistic style, Its' comedic story line (don't even get me started on the sandwich), Its interesting combat mechanics is what makes this game so great, you can legit hurt peoples feelings to make them take damage and weaken them its wonderful, theirs also little mini games to play when doing your attacks, be it catching something, or trying to stay away from falling rock or platforms. So for a game with a lower graphic resolution it makes up for in so many other places! so for my ranking on this game ill do it in sections Graphics 8/10 for what it is! not gonna compare it to a AAA game that has a massive team working on it Music: 7/10 good for listening and suites the game Combat: 10/10 Checks every box for an interesting combat system Developer as a person: 10/10 Listens to feed back and trys to implement to the best of his abilites in the game Over all this game gets a solid 9 from nothing is perfect but this is up there for me, i haven't had so much fun in quite a while playing a game So huge thank you to him for coming to my stream that night and getting me to play this SKAL!!!!
