About

A quiet island. A forgotten post office. And a mountain of undelivered mail.
You arrive just in time… or perhaps a little too late. The former postman has vanished, leaving chaos behind: parcels piled to the ceiling, customers growing impatient, and a once-thriving postal service on the brink of collapse.
One package at a time, you’ll bring it back to life.

Cat Mail Co. is about slowing down and enjoying the rhythm of small, satisfying tasks.
Incoming mail arrives by boat, and outgoing parcels must be carefully loaded for their journey.
Sort deliveries for the right destinations, or risk having them returned damaged. Take your time serving customers, organize your storage exactly the way you like, prepare for the next wave, and keep everything running smoothly as the post office slowly regains its former glory.
With each improvement, new destinations unlock, along with tools and abilities to help you manage the growing operation.

Every package tells you how it wants to be handled… but how you do it is up to you.
Weigh parcels to determine postage, apply destination labels, mark fragile or heavy goods, and decorate them with a variety of stamps. Functional or whimsical, every sticker you place adds personality to your work.
There’s no such thing as a “correct” way but just your way.

The post office doesn’t sleep… and neither do you.
As night settles in, moonlight reveals secrets. What seemed ordinary during the day may carry strange properties after dark, offering magical insight into how some parcels should be treated.
The routine continues, but in a magical way.

The massive backlog left behind isn’t just a task, it’s the story of the post office waiting to be uncovered.

Run the post office solo, or with friends.
With up to 4-player co-op, you can divide tasks, optimize your workflow, or simply enjoy the routine together. Whether you’re stamping, sorting, or loading the boat, teamwork makes the mail flow.

This was pretty fun! I found it really satisfying organizing packages and then cramming as many into the boat to ship at the end of every shift. I really appreciate the absence of a timer, with these kinds of games I've found a timer just stresses me out and prevents me from enjoying the process; That isn't to say I don't rush anyway! But the need for speed is more intrinsically motivated and feels better. I do have some critiques, however.

1) Package flow
I was playing before the recent patch and while that solved one of my major grievances
(thank god for the new soul line thing!!)
it decreased the package flow. I saw a review before I bought critiquing this so I'm not surprised, but I actually liked the amount of packages going in and out, at least in singleplayer (haven't messed with multiplayer yet). Personally, I really liked the puzzle and optimization involved in choosing which packages to put on the ship and the best way to arrange them for maximum efficiency. Especially now that I've reached the endgame
(the boat is usually has near maximum space available)
the rate feels super slow. I hardly ever even get close to maximum capacity on the boat, which is a little sad.
The spot to place inbound packages at the end of your shift would have been an excellent at that package rate, but now it's just a place for me to throw special packages I don't want to deal with haha.

2) Special packages

I do think that adding complexity is a good way to progress the game, but it feels more annoying than satisfying. Fragile and heavy are great and I have absolutely no issues with those! The issue is with the packages that need special rooms. if it was just occasionally, or just the one room, i wouldn't mind. But as you unlock each room its just another place you have to run all the way to when collecting packages to ship. They also have pretty limited capacity, so it's harder to, say, sort by destination when sometimes you get a huge box that can only go in that one spot.

3) Package size
Largely this is a minor gripe, but one that bothered me enough to warrant mentioning. It's more of a combination of factors than one specific thing, so I'll do my best to describe. the 1x2x2 boxes are kind of infuriating, if only because the name is only on the 2x2 side, and you can't put them down sideways. This means that when dealing with inbound packages, you cannot stack them or put them in the NUMEROUS handy 2x1x4 slots on the shelves- or even the 2x2x2 slots! The best place for them is the angled shelves but there's only so many of them, and they're competing with the 1x2x4 packages, which also have the name on the top, but wouldn't have fit in the slots anyway. The envelopes at least are shorter so you can peek in the shorter shelves to read them. The 3x3x3 boxes kind of kill me too lol. very few packages fit cleanly with them and even the ones that do (the 2x2x3) leave gaps filled only by the smallest packages, which I almost never have enough of to fill effectively. though that's only really a problem when you're hurting for space which the patch has made a non-issue for now. The largest packages would benefit from the name being moved to the big side, I think. As it is, they fit on the shelves with the name facing either into the shelf (to get covered up by another box) or, in the case of the center shelves right next to The Pile COVERED BY A POLE,,,,, In the dark room the only thing that can hold those boxes is angled so that the name can only point against the shelf next to it. or the other shelf.

I can only be so specific in these critiques because I liked this game enough to play it for hours LOL. It's cute and fun. I really do recommend it, especially at 15 dollars before sale!
I was really really looking forward to this game. I LOVED the demo. But the actual gameplay is so repetitive and doesn't feel rewarding enough for me.
Very cute game. Spent 13.5 hours on it so far and it's very soothing. Doesn't rush you to do tasks. It can become a bit tedious mais still very nice. I wish you could progress faster/advance more in the game than just more "challenging" packages. Also, the only thing I do not like is how vague some of the cats are about picking up some packages. A bit vague is okay. "My package is cubed shaped, that's the only info I have", is frustrating when you have 20 cubed shaped ones. Globally, I liked it.
I love how chill and cute this game is. I finished playing it in just 3 days and have gotten my friends to play with me because I want to play more. I would love options to customize the experience. Being able to rebind controls would be super useful as it's uncomfortable for me to use Shift to run. I would also super love the option to add more challenging aspects. Like having the piles generate more packages each day, to have a higher customer count each day, to be able to have the captain continue to have junk in his boat to make sorting packages more of a challenge. Maybe even make it so heavy packages that need to go out on his boat have to be on the bottom, and similar for fragile but they need to be on top or they auto damage. I don't want anything to take away the chill, slow aspect of the game. No time limits, no high penalties... Giving those as an option would be cool for those who want it, but what I'm after is having more to do. I absolutely love how many packages and customers generate in multiplayer and I'd like to be able to have that in singleplayer. It makes me sad to see all my shelves empty at the end of each shift because hardly enough packages were received and there's so much room on the boat. I still love the game. I'm trying to find ways to keep playing. I hope something like this comes along, even if it's just in a mod.
Super fun to play with friends or alone. Very cute and feel realy nice. Higly recommended!
the games good but the little ass kids who give vague descriptions piss me off
