This is an outbreak simulation where you need to identify and isolate infected cats. For a free to play game, this is not bad, but not my type of game.
"Cat Colony Crisis" Is a game that seems to pin chances of great victory on the "has hand drawn pictures of anthropmorphic cats/furries" over any substance in gameplay. Inspired by the COVID19 outbreak, the game tasks you with managing a colony ship of cats during a disease outbreak. The player must identify and isolate sick cats to prevent the spread of a mysterious illness. While there's a bit of documentation it's not clear exactly what you're supposed to do all the time, and the camera controls are pretty awful... and even once you work out how to see what's going on and work out what to do, you'll quickly find out this looks and feels like a Flash/HTML5 game more than a PC game. Indeed, it may have even made some money on ad impressions if this was up on the web, but Steam isn't here to compete with Chrome and Firefox. The game features really lacklustre 2D visuals (does the developer not know 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid-1990s?). Gamers don't spend thousands of dollars on gaming rigs and the latest 3D graphics cards to play 2D games. Even mobile phones and game consoles can do 3D graphics now. There's no excuse. On the matter of pricing and value for gamers, most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's often nasty mobile app cash shops, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of shady pricing schemes that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable, or something you might want to spend your time on. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 10 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.

its a good cute game, wish there was more events to make the game more random, but the game is free so you really cant complain, you can spend up to 30 min playing untill there is little to none replay value but yet again this game is free
It's fun, and a great game to play to relax or get away from the same three games that drive you nuts (does NOT mean this is a bad game, I enjoy it a lot). Not impossible to get the hang of, but I personally struggle with moving along the ship (might be my own dumb mistake or my laptop/wifi, idk). Fun, not overly impossible, and fun to play. 9/10, you should play for yourself and I bet you will enjoy it.
Before I played Cat Colony Crisis, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
it has cats!

Really nice game! It catches my attention, and keeps me focused on it. Sure, it can be a bit stressful, but it's amazing!
A fun little arcade strategy game! A bit frantic for the genre, but it reminds me of old flash games that way, and there's a depth to it I wasn't expecting. Worth a check if you like simple gameplay loops executed well.
