Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 95/day in the week to Jul 15 → 1.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 1: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Order of Ecclesia by itself is worth the price. On top of that, you get the sequel to one of the best metroidvanias in the series and a very strong standalone title in Dawn of Sorrow & Portrait of Ruin respectively. The emulation mechanics should help newer players get into the series, while the wide variety and range of weapons/souls lends replayable value to these games. Couple that with the fact that you're looking at some of the visually most pleasing entries and you have a very solid collection with a little something for both newcomers and those that have dabbled in the series before. One of, if not the best value metroidvania deal on this platform.
Portrait of Ruin segura mt bem o replay.
in a very real way these games had a huge role in raising me and it would be stupid and daring of me to even forget that its a fine collection with two perfectly good games- dawn of sorrow and portrait of ruin, and then order of ecclesia, which i go back and forth on whether its the best castlevania of all time, the best DS game of all time or simply one of the best games of all time fullstop
ta bien
the first two games are great, but the third Order is just the worst imaginable. the first two can be hard but fair, every mistake is your own mistake but in Order? off screen attacks are common, you get bounced across the screen into constant combo attacks, enemies deal stupid high damage and you hit like a wet noodle. I 100% the other two games in this but the third broke me after almost 36 hours of work meaning only a need for 36 more. It is horribly balanced and EXP is something that you need to beg and plead for. These issues I just don't find in the other two games that I have easily spent a couple hundred hours in without the same complaints. I have nothing good to say about a THIRD of the games offered. Two thirds maybe a passing grade where these devs come from but not here and not for me, it is a failure if it is two thirds good fun and a third pure trash.
👍
Great collection. I had a lot of fun playing these games and I appreciate the improvements made to adapt the original touch controls. The original Haunted Castle has some weird sound glitches, so I ended up just emulating it via Retroarch. If you're thinking about buying this collection just for the remaster of Haunted Castle, I’d suggest passing on it or waiting for a good sale. The remaster itself is good, but it's definitely not worth paying full price. Portrait of Ruin was easily the highlight of the collection. And while I didn't enjoy Order of Ecclesia’s level design or weird difficulty spikes, I did appreciate the story and the music is as excellent as ever. So yeah, I'd say this is definitely worth buying if you haven't played these games yet. They hold up incredibly well and have plenty of extra modes and content to dive into even after you finish the main story. For the GBA and older titles, though, I'd still recommend to emulate them using Retroarch over the other collections.
