The game features a multitude of different modes. In Death Match you will fight against other vehicles, gaining points when destroying them. Racing pits you against 5 opponents in a speed contest, Survival is a battle-royale-like combat match to the last man standing, Score battle makes you find collectible for points and Freedrive allows you to explore the game’s maps at your own pace.

This is pretty awesome! Runs great on my Steam Deck and seems to have loads of content with some fun and varied missions in different game modes. Reminds me of Rocket League in the way it pushes you to learn the tricks for each car (they all handle a bit differently) and it’s one of those “easy to play, hard to master” feelings that I love. There is defo a bunch of strategy and skill needed to beat the levels as it forces you to use different techniques to catch all the objectives. It is super-satisfying getting a full speed smash with an opponent car and seeing them wreck! My kid loves this part the best! There are some real fun power-ups that stack in crazy ways and the map constantly evolves during a run, turning into a proper mosh-pit. There’s also some funny customisations you can make like Smiley rims! My favourite car so far is the one that looks like General Lee. It handles so solidly and looks epic. Overall it’s quite polished and has some pretty banging tunes to drive along with too. Love it!
I was actually surprised how fun smashing cars in this game is, the physics and destruction are very enjoyable, definitely good value for the price
as soon as i press reverse it keeps going in reverse? i tried restartin the game and using keyboard instead. still happens
