CARMAGEDDON: MAX DAMAGE is HERE! And it's the antidote to Racing Games.

Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 8 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is a great iteration of the Carmageddon series. The game goes back to its roots with a lot of carmageddon 1 cars and remade carma1 levels. It also includes other game modes to play, like Car Crusher (deathmatch), Death Race (actually race against opponents), Fox-and-Hounds (Be the fox until timer goes to zero) and Ped and Checkpoint stampedes (be the first to reach peds/checkpoints). The only downside of this game is the multiplayer mode. Too bad the devs didn' t create a master server with a lobby for this game so you' ll have to find people to play against yourself. I had a lot of fun with the single player career mode and actually chased down all the achievements too. However, after getting all the achievements I could in career mode, the lack of a decent multiplayer becomes a pain. Too bad the devs never put in a decent multiplayer mode and too bad there aren' t any community fixes for this either.
I have mixed feelings about this one. Let's do a pro and con then Pro - First of all. It is Carmageddon and not something that took the game. It is really fun - The first map is the remake of the original first map, which is a great plus. - Die Anna is back! For the first time since the original. I like her car more than Max's because the engine is in the back, so there is less engine damage - The AI is good compared to the original two - The cars are beautiful and full of little details - New police cars: In the OG Carma, police were insanely tough; now all of them are armored smarts :D. I love them. So cute. (Ok, probably only just the first few chapters, but still I want one) Con - The progression system. It has a new progression system. It is based on credit farming and exploration. Which just kills the fun. The best way to farm progression is to explore the map, kill pedestrians, pick up credit barrels, and find the upgrade tokens. Yes, you need to find the tokens and not buy them like in the original one. The problem is that it kills the flow. You'd best avoid the rest of the opponents so you can keep your repair cost low (which is sometimes insanely high and easy to go into the negatives) - The rest of the game modes. I want to wreck things, not race. But they are fun in coop. Yeah, it is not my favourite Carmageddon, but it is in the Top 3.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 16: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

straight up the funnest car game ive played since carmageddon 2. we miss you stainless, keep making tasteless garbage like this so we can enjoy it. THQ Nordic, give the rights back, yall dont know what to do with it. (if its crashing run it in win7 compatibility mode. youre welcome)
Choremageddon could be good for less than 5$ this reflects nothing of the classics other than the name. The driving is bad the upgrades for your car hidden in the levels is meaningless, checkpoints as objectives, point stealing. This is all fun for about an hour then it becomes painfully worse than a early 2000's game and in later levels the game barely feels balanced
This game is really just a modern remake of the original classic after the game devs got the rights back to their franchise. I got this game way back as part of the kickstarter, I was left a little disapointed with the game on initial release because it felt clunky back on the original release and they promised a linux native release, fast forward to now(aug 2026) and I had a massive PC upgrade, despite the game utilizing a fraction of the GPU and CPU usage the game crunches to as low as 30fps, I can ock the game to 30 but this feels to slow, especially for a car game. I'm left utterly disapointed this game fell flat on it's behind. such a shame
Genuinely a ton of fun. Fantastic remake keeping the subgenre alive and IMO the best to do it.
Great game, I hope the next one is even better!

P. S. 2x. As a fan who grew up on the OGs, C:MD is one heck of a nostalgia trip and feels like a love letter to the first two games as well as a farewell gift to the franchise. It runs great (Steam Deck needed some fiddling at first, though), looks great, and is heaps of fun.
