About
Cargo Hunters is a third-person extraction PvE shooter in which you control a remote-controlled humanoid robot to scavenge resources on a decaying Earth.
Collect and lose loot. Build your shelter. Face challenges. Battle enemies. Fall. Rise. Survive no matter how you define survival.
After the global temperature rise, mankind faced the emergence of superviruses released from the melting Antarctic ice. Within a few years, they wiped out everything that moved, grew, or breathed.
Those with wealth or power escaped the dying Earth, fleeing to [classified] during the 'Second Exodus' colonization program in [classified]. Just before the first outbreak. Now they’re paying a ton of money to get their shiny, useless memorabilia back.
It’s all about you and how you get the job done. Brute force, sneak, steal, craft, buy, find. Do what you will.
But once you lose, you lose everything you’ve found. So think carefully. Equip pragmatically.
Carrying capacity, weight, noise, condition—everything matters.
You already have a human-shaped body. So wear human clothes or armor. Use their weapons. Add replaceable limbs. Dismember the fallen. Harvest their body parts. Recycle what’s unnecessary. That is the daily routine.
A lot of firearms brings a lot of trouble (and fun). Different specs, ballistics, conditions, ammo types, modifications, and handling.
So it’s up to you: what do you prefer? Blunt force, maybe? Huh.
Let’s begin our aimless, ever-changing, merciless journey together. This cruel no-man’s homeland awaits.
But for whom?

Juegardo.
Even if this was a mobile port, its clearly being made into a indie game, and has made a lot of progress, not to mention like Forever Winter it's got a big art aspect and a lot of work and spirit behind it. Do think there are some translation issues or confusion with story elements but besides that it's pretty solid and has a lot of intricate systems and generally fun gameplay.
It's still in early stages but what's there is fun and a great skeleton. The gun play is fun, the AI needs some work, the levels are well designed. The first area is basically a giant brutal tutorial zone which even then its pretty difficult. Chopping off limbs is neat but I havent found a reason to keep doing it other than getting new heads. Overall I find it worth it and Im excited about future updates.
Cargo Hunters is a solid game, at first it seems like it doesn't have much on the surface but once you've dipped your toes in for a few hours and unlocked the 2nd map things really open up and you'll realize there's more than you were expecting. Performance is amazing I've never dipped under my framerate cap of 160 I'm pretty sure this game could run on a potato as it is a port of a mobile version of Cargo Hunters that has now been scrapped that being said I do like the game art style and graphics. I definitely think some lighting (or better lighting) could be implemented as there's seems to be a lack of it entirely that's really my only complaint graphically it has charm otherwise. The combat in the game I wouldn't say is hard but it's definitely more of a challenge than most singleplayer/co-op extraction games you will die if you go into some situations too quickly and aren't prepared. Quest variety is surprisingly good there's a lot of different stuff you will be doing for mysterious people, loot variety isn't the craziest but there's still enough to where you will have some variety in treasure loot as well as crafting/upgrading loot. I'm currently 19 hours in and still have seem to have a good bit to do, this game really is a great time for how simple it looks on the surface. I got the game for $14.99 USD on the summer sale and I believe I've gotten every penny worth already, for others I would say watch the trailers and some gameplay as I really believe the normal price should be $15 as the game could get stale for some people who aren't into the genre of PvE extraction shooters as I am. But if you're looking for a chill extraction shooter you can play that keeps you on your toes sometimes the normal asking price of $20 is well worth it if you think it will be something you enjoy. I might update this review in the future once I've truly seen everything the game has to offer, I really look forward to seeing where the future updates take this game.
напомнило игру XERA. не особо интересно и пока ничем не завлекает
A well-made indie single-player extraction/survival game. The fact that all characters including yourself are robots adds some neat game mechanics, like scavenging body parts from killed enemies to upgrade yourself in the field or replace a destroyed part. It's still in early acces but the engine is well enough polished and there's enough in there to easily last 20-30 hours even now, with more stuff planned for future releases. Dev is reasonably active woth updates and seems quite passionate about this game.
Контента пока что маловато, за 54 часа так и не нашел нигде топовые ганы
