Is the tutorial in this game just for show? What’s the point of cards if you can’t properly play or combine them in this AI trash, and instead have to follow a strict order set by the developer? Oh right — that’s what they call “hardcore.”

It's... It's very rough around the edges. Card cost isn't super intuitive (There being copper, silver, and gold, but there's nothing about whether they are just rarer than each other or interchangable or anything), and your deck is finite (you run out of card = you have nothing to play). Some/Many keywords don't have explaination on what they do. There were situation where the cards would block the end turn button so I have to discard cards before I can even end turn. Energy/cost aren't very well-explained (It's not mentioned in tutorial). Credits kind of just exist, and you don't know what losing them in missions look like unless you actually suffer a loss, and what gains them. There were situations where the best thing you can do is simply to pass for ~20 rounds while the enemy simply dance themselves to death on damaging room effects. Lastly, the cards themselves simply aren't fun. Overall, I can see that there are potentially efforts made, but unfortunately it simply missed the mark on various occasions. But it *is* free.
