They must rely on their wits, quick reflexes and - of course - Firehawk's legendary retro gaming skills!

Took me 4 hours to complete. Just like DSW, but these are actual giantesses. 6 giantesses to beat in total + 3 or so H scenes. Fun if you like giantess or DSW kind of games. improvements: 1. i would have liked to see more poses, its just 1 doggy and 5 missionary. 2. mouse only movement
Captain Flamehawk and the Laser Love Situation... Simply said, it's short and sweet.
THE ARTSTYLE
The artstyle is just amazing. The character design is very well done, and really reminiscent of 90's anime. Very retro. The game really goes all-in on the retro aesthetic, and it definitely paid off. The CRT-filter settings are very cool, letting you adjust to your preference how retro you want your game to look, or if you just want the vanilla, unfiltered pixel art. Both options look stunning. The art itself is high-quality. The artists are very talented, and it shows again and again during the game.
AS A BULLET HELL
As a Bullet Hell, it sticks to the fundamentals to deliver solid gameplay. The difficulty I'd say is very enjoyable if you're looking to 100%. I'm by no means a bullet hell expert though, so for more advanced Touhou-enthusiast players, it may not be challenging enough. I like the damage/coins mechanic, making it possible to enjoy the adult game aspect even if you're a total noob to bullet hells, but also making it not too easy to 3-star levels if you're more skilled. The option to manually change your ships speed I haven't seen before but I liked being able to tweak it to my preference, and even turn it all the way up when I felt like upping the challenge. The fact that you do have to completely strip the giants before clearing the stage I also like, because it rewards successfully destroying all clothes off-the-bat and lest you have a harder time surviving and dodging. TL;DR: The gameplay itself is very enjoyable for low to medium skill players alike.
AS AN ADULT GAME
As an adult game, it's pretty light. Most of the nudity is in the levels themselves, or in the revealing outfits the characters wear in the dialogue. That in itself is, in my opinion, not lackluster at all. I'm no Goldilocks, but it really felt just right. The artists really know how to draw a good ass. Actual H scenes or animations are not abundant, however, and most of them do require a bit of effort to 100% the levels and unlock. If you're only looking for a lot of porn, this may not be for you. The animations, quality-wise, could be better. With usually only a few frames for the H-scenes themselves, the animations may not look as good as they could. The moving giantesses in the levels themselves sometimes look a bit funky and distorted as their torsos sway around. Still, nothing very disturbing, and all absolutely very enjoyable. TL;DR: Though not abundant, the adult-game aspect is rightfully simple and quite pleasing.
STORY & WRITING
The writing itself is fairly decent. It's not something that'll make your English teacher cream, but I'd say it's above average. There's definitely some slop out there, and this isn't that. The game is quite short, so the plot doesn't have a lot of space to develop or deepen, but it does get pretty interesting down the line despite its brevity. What does make it quite difficult to follow the story, however, is the way "time-skips" and such are handled. On occasion, the dialogue ends and then jumps to a different planet, without any transition graphic or even text. You really have to keep your wits about you to keep up with when and where throughout the story. Character introductions are done pretty neatly, I'd say. The writing of the characters' personalities themselves sits at an awkward spot between "difficult to notice their distinct personality" and "eccentric, possibly unrealistic actions to highlight distinct personality", but it's not necessarily off-putting or harmful to how the story is enjoyed. The comedy and humour in the game, a bit sarcastic, a bit abrupt; quite cartoonish, which I'd say works very well for the game. The humour in the game really does set the mood and all-in-all shapes the way the game is enjoyed. TL;DR: Though difficult to keep track of sometimes, the plot and its humorous characters work well. Long story short, Captain Firehawk and the Laser Love Situation is quite a beautiful piece in the bullet hell-adult game genre, full of humour and fun, and it's a great experience enjoying the fruits of the devs' clear-to-see passion for this game. Though only a few hours of playtime, I wholeheartedly recommend this game to people who enjoy adult games mixed with the bullet hell genre, or are willing to dabble. I got the game on sale, but I wouldn't mind having paid full price. It is absolutely worth it.
I don´t know how this game is so fun, but it is.
It's fun, especially for how cheap it is. The characters are the 90's anime hot, some just happen to look big on the screen. Wish there was a point to the coins, like an in game shop to upgrade your ship or something. If I had this on an old console, with the crt tv, I bet the vibes would fit better. Still, it's a fun little shooter with sexy giant ladies and a good soundtrack.
I don't mind giving money to devs that at least try to make a good game. This isn't one, unfortunately. Bland, repetitive gameplay with no upgrades or whatever for the ship, overlong cutscenes and only a small number of stages. Add in the braindead grossout humor and this thing's heading for the bin.
Sensacional!!! Mas não é pra crianças
So first, let's find the good. This game does not take itself seriously whatsoever. Many a videroo game reference and the splattering of Japanese Kartoon tropes at every turn make for some fun. The sexual content is, at best, tertiary to everything else, which is another layer of humor I liked. The art is done in a style that recaptures the mid to late 1980's aesthetic of badly dubbed Saturday mornings, and it is excellent. Honestly, the art direction is likely the high point of the whole thing, though that is a very niche sentiment to tout as the apogee. It isn't a particularly long game, which is a plus here. Now, for the less than good. The gameplay itself is somewhat novel, as you don't explode from taking hits. Instead of lives and continues, you lose coins that are collected throughout the stage for a minimum to advance to the next stage and earn mastery stars for unlocking content. The problem with this, however, is that your ship's hurtbox is bigger than it feels as though it should be(which may explain why so many EMP bombs drop for destroying enemy fire)and you take hits when things get busy that seem out of place. So the game is too hard? Far from it. I appreciate that they made it beginner friendly, yet that also means long stretches of weaving away from sub-boss fire patterns while waiting for the screen to pan back to where you can target an active part of a giant lady. Different ships or weapons? Nope. You have one shot that can get up to the fourth level and then you've hit the ceiling. As far as esoteric score multipliers/manipulation, all I could find was "clear every enemy wave and don't get hit." There could very well be more to it than that, but I just didn't catch it. The one area that can be frustratingly difficult is getting three stars on every level. Level select is an option for those runs(a nice feature),but playing those levels for stars quickly becomes a frustrating chore. I like the wrapper they put around this game, and it is brimming with goofy heart, yet the game itself just isn't anywhere near as fun as the presentation. It's a mild bummer, but if you aren't a diehard fan of a very certain moment in cultural history, then this one is a pass.
