I haven't beaten it yet, just been exploring/grinding. Really awesome graphics, though camera angles get a little wonky sometimes. I have managed to clip out of bounds a few times into the endless abyss lol.. See if you can manage it ;) Solid 4.2 / 5 stars from me. I highly recommend, and I'm only 5 hours in.
本作はPVを見た限りだとビジュアルは芸術的で素晴らしく、音楽も素晴らしいように見え戦闘もやりがいがあるように見えたので購入しました。 しかし、実際プレイしてみるとカメラワークがおかしく、プレイヤーキャラにカメラがロックされているため、ジャンプするたびにカメラがプレイヤーと一緒に上方に揺れるの酔ってしまい気持ち悪くなりました。 ゲーム自体は楽しそうですが、カメラワークが改善されない限りまったくおすすめできません。

Este "Caballero Vela" es una perla que debe ser reivindicada, y que tenga una visibilidad mayor que esta triste reseña. Quien tenga una edad recordará los juegos de plataformas "2.5D" en aquellos años en los que seguir jugando en 2D era castigado a nivel informativo por la divulgación en prensa. El caso es que Candle Knight es un juego de plataformas de esquemas clásicos, con una factura artística maravillosa. Realmente, con esto resumiría lo que ofrece este tesorito de juego. Pero amplío un poco más: combate y maneras inspiradas en Hollow Knight. Lo críptico de su historia y el trasfondo donde nos movemos, apela al 'bicho hueco'. Y disfrutamos de un juego de plataformas clásico, con algo de 'backtracking', con algunos objetivos y encargos opcionales. Pero la verdad es que esto es aquel "Clockwork Knigt" partido en dos juegos de la tristemente poco recordada Sega Saturn en su espíritu. Y los mexicanos Dracma Studios han sabido hacer un juego de calidad, para más publico que quienes recordamos esas referencias de hace casi treinta años. Pero este humilde 'escritor' agradece esta aventura de 'saltar y luchar' tan bien hecha y resuelta. Y con la personalidad y carisma que transmite este 'mini-mundo' fantástico-mágico.
This game has a really intriguing design! Gameplay is acceptable a little bit mechanic but not unenjoyable, after all it is a good game whit a good soundtrack. Passion is there for sure it just needs to be refined! BONUS: Runs Well on Steam Deck!!
The game is amazing! It runs smooth and the soundtrack is just perfect for the world that it is in a must play for fan of Metroidvania!
Este juego es bastante bueno, en todos los aspectos, podría parecer que quizá no pueda ser tu juego, pero en realidad es bastante agradable al comenzarlo a jugar. La música me ha parecido increíble y la jugabilidad me parece muy agradable, algo bastante interesante. El combate al inicio cuesta un poco entenderlo, puesto que no es el tipo de juegos que juego. Pero el aspecto visual, la música y todo el concepto me parece muy interesante. Un gancho verdadero, puesto que al final el combate y su plataformeo está bastante agradable. Dracma ha dado todo su esfuerzo en traernos una gran obra como es Candle Knight. Espero con ganas terminarlo.

absolute trash, input delay of half a second on every button press. combat makes no sense. controls feel extremely jank and clunky. would not recommend. if you want a fun metroidvania experience do not buy this.
The game is great. Atmosphere and enemies are cool and the world is neat. There are massive bugs that need to be fixed. I could not kill one of the bosses (the scholar) due to bugs. He would just freeze in an invincible state until I reset the fight. I tried resetting about 5 times and could not get him to stop freezing forever invincible.
