Note: The demo is the "Free Complete Version." You can play through to the ending for free.
"Is It Okay to Fall in Love with an Idol?" is a fresh new romantic comedy visual novel.
You become the manager of the new idol group "Melonchu (♡愛恋人♡)".
To succeed in their debut live concert, romance with the active idols is strictly forbidden... But love flags are popping up left and right, and the members start with MAX affection!
How will you overcome this crisis?
It's a chaotic romantic comedy with a "no dating" rule—a first in the otome game genre (perhaps!?)!
The story progresses on a common route until the live concert.
The Dilemma: Choosing options that increase the idols' affection will decrease the Live Success Rate.
Your Goal: Select choices that increase the Live Success Rate to guide the story toward a successful debut!

Kagura Issa (CV: Yoshino Kaku)
Leader of Melonchu. In charge of rap and hand clapping. Self-centered and bossy, but confident in his looks. Fell in love with the manager upon their chance meeting.

Nijo Ranmaru (CV: Fujie Tatsuya)Dance member of Melonchu. His speech is rough, and he has a strong attitude, but he easily shows his affectionate side. Fell in love with the manager upon their chance meeting.

Mitoge Otoha (CV: Inou Koki)SNS member of Melonchu. Low-tension and speaks in mysterious internet slang from the Heisei and Reiwa eras. Fell in love with the manager upon their chance meeting.

Shibaura Reiji (CV: Yoshimura Yuu)Production Accounting staff. Seems to care about you, the new manager. He knows the current affection levels of the Melonchu members and can inform you of them.

Aida Mei (CV: None) Name Change AvailableThe Protagonist (You). She had a favorite idol group long ago, but lost her memory due to the shock of their sudden disbandment.

It's a cute little game, as someone who is super into idols generally speaking I would recommend as long as you plan on trying to actually help the group succeed in their live and not just try to date them out the gate (fastest way to failure) even though the game makes it SUPER tempting. Also Ranmaru is best boy.
short simple and straight forward story with more focus on the comedy but some sweet moments. the extra content (dress up room, seiyuu commentary, theme song vers) unlocked after you achieve each good end is a nice bonus
this was my gateway to otome games. it's quite a short game, however because of that I think it's fairly priced (purchased while on sale). overall, I think it was very cute and the characters are likeable. I absolutely love this art style so visually I really enjoyed the game. the voice acting is excellent! I do wish there was significantly more content and story, but the point of this dating sim was for it to be short. regardless, it was enjoyable! there are multiple endings, depending on which boy you want to romance. I thought it was pretty fun to romance all of them. i was definitely left with wanting more time with the boys. I wish to see more otome games with this art style and content.
剧情很短很简单,也还可以吧,毕竟就这个价。不过要是想看大体量文本和体验细腻恋爱剧情的就不用买了。
cute, sweet, very short game for two hours. I like the voice acting and that you can break up with them Reiji route was nice but I didn't have time to get to know him or care about him that much recommended to buy when it's on sale.
大概半小时左右就通关了呢,有些文案和画面很搞笑我不行了最后咱们也是完美完成梦想啊,就是还没玩尽兴就结束了
为什么不能和蓝毛在一起,我爱上他了
Overall rating? maybe 4/10. I wish there was a neutral option. Pros: the art and voice acting is great, story is funny and lighthearted. I liked Reiji,
wish they made his route longer.
Cons: very short gameplay (approx. 2 hours), needs more plot honestly- especially since there are free or same price-point otomes out there that have a deeper storyline.
不是说好了不能和偶像谈恋爱吗?结果你骗我啊0-0
