The most-anticipated game of the year and the sequel to the best-selling first-person action game of all time, Modern Warfare 2 continues the gripping and heart-racing action as players face off against a new threat dedicated to bringing the world to the brink of collapse.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
12 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.29/day in the week to Sep 3 → 12.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

If you are looking for the absolute "golden era" of Call of Duty, I highly recommend picking this up. The campaign is a total blast, essentially a Michael Bay movie brought to life (always been the case with Call of Duty, but this one crank it to the max), packed with explosives and a genuinely interesting plot. The later half of the story involving Price, Makarov, and General Shepherd’s infamous "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" dynamic is still fantastic to experience. The level design is remarkably good for a game that came out in 2009 (17 years ago by the way). It perfectly captures the pure panic of the U.S. invasion arc, the suburbia levels in particular are incredibly well done, and the maps themselves are almost completely faithfully recreated (you should see the video on Youtube, though i forgot the channel) As a massive sucker for the M4 and militaria gear in general (Pro-Tec bump helmet is widespread for some reason, i dig the Rangers for making the UCP looks cool and not cringe though), the weapon design here is a hilarious mixed bag. You get some gold, rare weapon choices for the era like the WA2000 and the ACR, but you also get some outright sins. Because gun knowledge was still a pretty niche hobby back then, a lot of the weapons were clearly modeled after generic airsoft AEG replicas (with the M4 based/modeled on the Jing Gong M4 S-System instead of actual ARMS rail). If you look closely at the character models, the magazines literally have feeding holes molded into them for 6mm airsoft BBs (commonly used for an AEG). You also have the "G18" being modeled after a standard Glock 17 without a selector switch, and the M4 having a totally mirrored texture on the receiver that flips the ejection port. It hurts to look at if you love realism, but given the era it was made, it's an understandable quirk. The sound design is a bit of a roller coaster, ranging from punchy and satisfying to downright obnoxious. Some guns sound great, while others sound like peashooters or paperclips. The suppressor (or silencer, whatever) audio also completely fabricated the playground myth that silencers fully mute a gun. Fortunately, the radio chatter is absolutely top-notch and does a ton of heavy lifting for the immersion, backed by an awesome cast of memorable voice actors (especially Craig Fairbrass as Ghost, i love Ghost). Do I recommend it? Yes, absolutely, but only for the Campaign and Spec Ops. DO NOT PLAY the vanilla multiplayer. You are either going to get stuck in matchmaking limbo because the game is trying to pair you with the three other people on earth who own the Variety Map Pack (absolutely do not buy it, I made that mistake), or you are exposing your PC to actual security risks from cheaters using remote access exploits. If you have the itch to play the multiplayer, skip the official servers entirely and look into a custom third-party client like ♥♥♥♥. Price-wise, never buy this at full price. It’s a game from 2009. Wait for a deep Steam discount or track down a cheap key.

12 on sale3 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 3 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 12 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Baest Game ever
Es unos de mis juegos clásicos, y aunque me lo haya pasado como 10 veces, sigo jugando a la historia principal y los modos de un jugador, me hubiese gustado a ver conocido alguien para jugar juntos a los niveles cooperativos :(
