Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.14/day in the week to Sep 3 → 8.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Six Hours of “DO THIS!”
By 2007 I didn’t own a gaming PC. My machine was dying, I was broke, and I had other games to worry about, so I completely missed the part where the gaming world apparently decided to reinvent the FPS. Then Modern Warfare 2 came out in 2009 and everyone lost their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ minds. My nerd friends became 1337 keyboard warriors overnight. Reckless Tortuga was suddenly everywhere. “Gritty.” “Realistic.” “Modern.” Apparently Halo was dead and this was the future. It was contagious enough that I eventually cucked myself and watched the entire MW2 campaign on YouTube. Soap became my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hero. The multiplayer looked like the greatest thing ever made. For years, these games sat on my “I should probably play this” list. So eventually I bought the first Modern Warfare for $20 like an idiot. For what? A six-hour campaign that puts you on a railroad, hands you a gun, points at the next thing and screams DO THIS until you do it. Scene. Firefight. DO THIS. Enemies respawn until the game decides you're allowed to move. Scene. Firefight. DO THIS. Repeat until credits. And look, I understand what this game did. The presentation was huge. The set pieces were spectacular. The multiplayer progression, kill rewards and constant little dopamine injections practically wrote the blueprint for an entire industry. But this was the game that dethroned Halo? Because in Halo I can wander around, experiment, ♥♥♥♥ up, improvise and find my own solution to a fight. Here, I'm basically a passenger on a military-themed amusement park ride. Maybe that's the point. Maybe I'm just twenty years too late and this thing has aged into something I can't connect with. But spending $20 on Modern Warfare felt like I robbed myself. I'd play MW2 and MW3 eventually. I'm just not in any ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hurry anymore. Apparently, in my 30s, I finally discovered that I wasn't missing out on nearly as much as I thought I was.
One of the Best CoD i ever played
