About
Cairn’s realistic simulation allows intuitive climbing: find the best holds and place your hands and feet seamlessly with simple controls. Adapt your posture, effort and balance —if you're not careful, you will fall!
As pro climber Aava, you embark on the ascent of Mount Kami, a summit that has never been reached. Along the journey, meet unexpected companions and hear from those left on the ground. Discover the mountain's history and decide what Aava is willing to sacrifice to achieve her dream.
You are free to climb anywhere. Explore the mountain, read the rock face from the ground and plan your route carefully to reach the top. Solve problems while on the wall to navigate difficult sections. You can climb on anything, so choose your path wisely!
Climbing is challenging: each wall feels like a boss fight. A thrilling challenge for those eager to test themselves, but you can also adjust the difficulty to customise your experience.
Manage your resources to survive during the long ascent: pitons, chalk, finger tape... but also food, water and medicine. Set up bivouacs and explore the mountain to find resources to reach the summit.
An unforgettable experience from the makers of Furi and Haven, with music and sound design by the team behind Limbo, Inside, Control and Cocoon, and art and story by renowned comic-book artist Mathieu Bablet.

Reviews
Love the game, even if it's kinda janky and buggy. The idea for the automatic limb system is good, but it's not really working the way you'd want it to. The way Aava often continues climbing when you reach a flat surface is also annoying. Otherwise the game is beautiful, and runs pretty good on my steam deck. Haven't noticed any issues with the fps I think.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Beautiful, fun but oh so blood boiling. A great climbing game but not for those who get easily frustrated

Fantastic game, There will be frustrations but it makes the achievement of making to the summit feel that much more gratifying. Along with Aava's story and what it means for someone who has passion in what they do, what it means to them and what she sacrifices for that dedication. This game was a great experience and the journey was absolutely worth it Tips for people doing their first climb: Dont be afraid of using pitons, tapping the drop button undo's the last grip action incase you missed a hold, and holding the bumper will let you select a limb. I could have dramatically reduced my frustration and time if i knew these things on my first climb. Have fun climbing!
