Short but cute visual novel type game. The ending I got felt a little rushed, but I still enjoyed it. Very feel good. And I love the art!
sad clare had no scenes later on. so while the artwork looks great i think the adult scenes can use work. i don't know what type of resources they have. it just reminds me of the king of series and they were ok. no gallery. options should be in main menu as well. they can be also found when you start the game.
This is one of the 1st in this world.. This Now does link to other stories in this world. The areas of Boston, Aspen and Seatle are in some of the others and Paris is also a place in a later story. These stories interlink with each other, though there are different ones in between. Reading them all gives you a good idea of it all. The Only one that is not linked is Confessions at Candlewood. They thought it could but it's In Story timeline was way off the rest even though it is good. I forgot that I had played this when it first came out as I got side tracked by the brilliant VN's that followed in it's wake. I did enjoy this story,, 2 Love interests, both at different ends of the scale, a loving older sister who is very hard working and she is straight BUT,,, issues in that area and it's over Thanks Giving. Let the Chaos commence. I Enjoyed it, It's a Yuri love Story, whats Not to like. Read It,, it's good, Enjoy.
A very quick but enjoyable slice of life yuri romance visual novel. There was enough substance to the story and the characters to keep the entertainment factor fulfilled though I did catch myself wishing that the time in the cafe itself had been for more than just a few days (not gonna lie though, if I could work 6 hours with one screen dissolve I'd have it made). Ultimately, though I did unlock all the other endings for achievement sake, I did get the ending I wanted and it wasn't difficult to make happen. I will say that I bought the game on sale, and I think that for the amount of content involved I would recommend that for anyone. I hope if you do give this game a try that you enjoy it as much as I did.
A fun romp with real dialogue and situations and reactions that are not over-the-top. The whole story felt real and engaging and the story was able to flesh out its characters very quickly in subtle ways that were not heavy handed and didn't depend on existing tropes or archetypes. Overall, very quick, quick-to-the-point and very enjoyable. I especially liked the little decisions to help flesh out our Main Character as it helps to quickly flesh out the kind of relationship the main character has with their love interest.
GUILTY PLEASURE
Cafe Deux Femmes is yet another yuri + slice of life Visual Novel from Double Peach Productions. As usual with their games, you can finish it in less than two hours. It's a solid craftmanship - not something above average, but you'll be satisfied (especially if you're using NSFW patch 😉). The game lets you make some choices. They are not complicated. Pick whatever your love interest prefers. It will lead you to good ending and sex scene (with NSFW patch). There are two bad endings, but it's obvious which choices will cause them. Specific visual style (that I like), nice CGs and jazz soundtrack. Good stuff. I can recommend it as a "time killer", that you can play between bigger titles. Get it on some sale and enjoy the story. I love the art but for a game that tackles colonialism and racism having the main event be on Thanksgiving is a little tone deaf.
Good story, and the developers have done a lot with a relatively limited amount of art assets.
it's sad my English not good hope you guys can do chinese sub
Decent enough art and music, but even overlooking my personal disinterest in small talk and normie life, the writing leaves a bit to be desired, especially when it comes to the erotic endings. Outside of Adriana being occasionally charming and relationship drama with the protagonist's sister, I kind of... really don't care about these characters? Cafe Deux Femmes is the first visual novel by Double Peach, however, as well as Little Black Book's first sapphic entry, so there's at least plenty of room to improve going forward.
