Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 8 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

good game, pretty cool story jogo legal, tem uma historia interessante
Byte The Bullet is a retro-inspired action platformer developed by Esteban Marin and published by JanduSoft that frames its adventure inside the metaphorical landscape of a corrupted computer system. You play as a digital antivirus hero tasked with restoring broken components of a machine overtaken by malicious forces. Rather than presenting a traditional fantasy or sci-fi setting, the game transforms hardware elements such as the hard drive, graphics card, and sound card into themed worlds, each with distinct mechanics and visual quirks. This conceptual framework gives the game a playful identity while providing structural variety across its stages. At its core, Byte The Bullet is a 2D run-and-gun platformer that draws clear inspiration from classic titles of the late 80s and 90s. Movement revolves around tight jumping, shooting, and managing enemy encounters across side-scrolling environments. However, it incorporates small but meaningful twists. Your primary weapon gradually overheats if fired continuously, altering its behavior and encouraging measured use instead of constant shooting. This mechanic adds a layer of tactical decision-making to combat, especially during boss fights or dense enemy encounters. In addition, a jetpack-like mobility feature enhances vertical movement, allowing players to access hidden platforms, avoid hazards, and approach levels with more flexibility than traditional grounded platformers. The progression system is semi-nonlinear. Rather than following a rigid stage order, players can choose which subsystem-themed world to explore first. Completing stages restores aspects of the corrupted system, visually and mechanically altering the environment. Early levels may appear stripped of color or limited in audiovisual clarity, reinforcing the narrative idea of malfunction. As components are repaired, the game world becomes richer in color and sound, creating a satisfying feedback loop that ties gameplay success to environmental transformation. Byte The Bullet embraces nostalgia openly, weaving references and homage into its design. Certain secret levels echo mechanics and aesthetics reminiscent of iconic retro platformers and shooters, rewarding observant players with playful throwbacks. These references are more than surface-level nods; they are integrated as optional content that expands replay value. However, the game remains distinct enough to avoid feeling like a direct imitation. Its digital-system theme and mechanical quirks provide enough originality to give it its own identity. Visually, the game adopts a pixel art style that blends simplicity with thematic creativity. Environments reflect their hardware inspirations, with level designs incorporating abstract digital motifs, glitch-like effects, and stylized representations of circuitry and corrupted data. The color palette evolves alongside player progression, reinforcing the restoration theme. While the graphics are not hyper-detailed, they are cohesive and functional, maintaining clarity even during intense action sequences. The soundtrack complements the retro aesthetic with chiptune-inspired compositions that match the energy of the gameplay. Music shifts subtly between corrupted and restored states, enhancing immersion. Sound effects are crisp and responsive, supporting the tactile feel of jumping and shooting. The audio design plays a subtle role in reinforcing the digital setting without overwhelming the core platforming focus. Difficulty can be moderately challenging, particularly for players unfamiliar with classic run-and-gun conventions. Enemy placement, platform spacing, and boss patterns require precision and patience. While the controls are generally responsive, certain sections demand careful timing that may test less experienced players. That said, overcoming these challenges provides a sense of accomplishment consistent with its retro inspirations. Replay value stems from collectibles, optional secrets, and the freedom to approach worlds in different orders. In-game currency, humorously themed around digital “bitcoins,” can be collected to unlock upgrades and bonuses. This layer of progression encourages exploration and revisiting areas with new abilities. For completionists, discovering hidden stages and references adds additional longevity. Ultimately, Byte The Bullet succeeds as a heartfelt tribute to classic action platformers while presenting a creative digital-system twist. Its combination of semi-open progression, restoration-based environmental storytelling, and measured combat mechanics distinguishes it within the indie retro scene. Though it may not fully match the polish of the legendary titles it references, it offers a charming, challenging, and inventive experience for players who appreciate pixel art platformers with personality and nostalgic flair. Rating: 7/10
I am very happy that this game exists and that a company like Jandusoft will publish things of this nature. It is wacky, a little unhinged, and certainly creative. If you grew up on an NES like I did, you will appreciate all the little references to those old games that are stuffed in every part of the experience.
With keyboard only this game is unplayable.
i just wish i could remap the keys, but is a good game.
It's a pretty simple action game but it gets really challenging if you go for each level achievements. The secret levels pay tribute to old classic games and offer a good change of pace. Sadly the constant flashing lights can get a bit harsh on the eyes.
