scarlet_002 can suck my ass
BUZZ is a fun and fast paced precision platformer. The funny thing is that it arguably does something that you aren't supposed to do in precision platformers which is have floaty quick momentum controls. The amazing thing is that it actually works so well. Every level is crafted in a way you can often chain together and correct your momentum in wide fluid movements that feels extremely satisfying. I think the main game isn't too difficult in my opinion, barring a couple of the final levels, but the real challenge is getting the collectables. Though those also are a bit of the negative of this game. Most are fine and a good challenge, but as the game progresses, it becomes very unclear how you actually are expected to grab the collectables. I think abyss 10 is the biggest example of this. Even after I 100% the game, I don't think I actually solved that one correctly. The method I used was really inconsistent and arbitrary that I can't imagine it's correct. The levels are amazingly made, there's a lot of fun tricks to complete them extremely fast, and it's not extremely long like some other precision platformers I played. It's a good game to complete in a weekend if you want a fun challenge.

BUZZ is the offspring of Hotline Miami from a different dimension. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ beautiful beats. Fast pace. Unforgiving game play. wouldrecommend/10
raging pain..... 10/10
This game is addictive as hell with how unforgiving some levels feel. The relief after overcoming some of them makes me feel lighter after sweating through them with so much rage. 100% recommend it.
The game sits in a weird spot for me, I've had it since day one when it launched in early access and I've watched and played each update of the game as it has progressed but now that it has finally released its time for a review. I wish there was a middle ground option between yes/no because while I recommend it to an extent I feel like I need to vote it down just because of the straight up lies the most popular positive reviews are saying and with it being 90%+ positive I feel this game doesn't deserve a 9/10. First of all the game has bugs. I mean LOTS of bugs. I put up with it in the earlier releases and was constantly saying "its in early access" but here we are and MAN does it have bugs. Clipping Despawning Physics inconsistencies AI getting stuck Spawn rate inconsistencies Fall from a few meters nearly die Fall from hundreds of meters take no damage Chop a tree and have it fling you across the map Kill an enemy in the wrong spot and watch your boat fly off into the sunset Drop a log on your boat and watch it sink Playing multiplayer if the connection isnt perfect people will fall through boats People will also appear to be downed on one persons screen and alive on another. Ai get stuck on logs or pebbles but can jump up into trees and onto treetop platforms Watch enemies run up cliff sides to chase you and then not be able to climb up the cliff 10 seconds later The Ai is terrible really, getting stuck probably 50-60% of the time you are getting attacked. Really easy to game it into spots where it cant attack you or just stands still to get killed. Ai often follows the same route each time so putting 1 or 2 traps in it's route will guarantee enemies die before even attacking you. Combat is loose as hell, swapping between feeling great and feeling really terrible, it feels like skyrim just slashing away at an enemy with an axe/katana/machete over and over and over until eventually they die one time and then feeling great crusing someones skull or getting an instant kill headshot with a bow another time. Enemies are a complete nothing force unless you are playing on highest difficulty and even then pose absolutely no threat until day 18-20 and then only pose a minor annoyance. Weapons are extremely limited by comparison to other survival games, and the progression curve is way off. You can easily head to the cave with the katana at the beginning of the game and just instantly have the best weapon in the game. Leaving all other melee weapons in the game pointless. Respawn rates for rocks is insane, never stepping more than 1 metre before finding another rock even in an area you cleared less than 10 seconds ago. Cloth respawning in areas only when you reload the game. Key items only spawning once so if you die it is possible to permanently lose the ability to finish the game. Birds spawn in the same spot over and over and can be farmed to no end. Same with turtles. Exact same spot every time. Traps are inconsistent and may trigger due to player collider clipping through walls/floors but wont trigger when enemy walks directly over the top of them. I'm not saying the game is bad because it's not I enjoy it, but it has issues that people should be aware of and since one of the top reviews is saying how good the AI is when it's really buggy, really broken and really easy to avoid/trap/kill/game I had to write this because if I read that persons review and then played this game I'd be getting a refund. Also store page is misleading IMO talking about the enemies having families, beliefs and morals. This is all non-sense the game does nothing to show this. Having enemies run around in groups and aggrevate when one of the group members dies does not indicate family ties, morals or beliefs and since they attack you on site no matter what I wouldn't really say they have morals at all. TLDR; The game is good but has tons of issues so be prepared to get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ by bugs
They say that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results. That's probably why I died over a hundred times before passing the first level. This game made me insane, but it did it with heart. Punishing learning curve aside, this is a great little game that's super addictive. You'll fail a lot more than you succeed, but the pacing never feels slow, with the trusty 'Restart' key by your side. Brute force wins. Definitely worth the few bucks, so hop to it!
Jade Level_004 is great! The shard reminds me of an infinite portal in portal. Great Game! Would definitely recommend. The game is great. I can see some form of inspiration from Celeste with the void platforms or whatever they are called. I love how with each level of a certain category, the music progresses by adding a synth or beat or whatever. Great touch. I feel like when a new mechanic is introduced have a quick description at the start of the level that explains it. Also I would love to be able to make my own levels! I would call this a borderline rage game (probably a rage game) as there is no information on how to play and it is up to us to discover how to play with the provided mechanics. Even after raging for 10 minutes completing the level is worth it! Again, Great Game! Would definitely recommend.
plays great on steam deck, platforming feels very intuitive, Im just pretty bad at punishing platformers if youre worried about my playtime, so I've played as far as I can get and left it that. I'll probably get a friend to play so I can watch over their shoulder.
