The best revenge is massive success.
The story is really bad. Everything isn't only predictable, it's also absurd. A totally-human extremely rich character tells you she's been around for centuries, but you don't conclude she's a vampire. Porn scenes make little sense. You acquire points of various natures for... no obvious reason. Honestly, there are MANY better games.

Amanda: Nathan? Nathan? Darkness Revenge--is an Adult Visual Novel about an FBI Special Agent who is murdered while in Witness Protection, turned into a vampire, and then used unwittingly for a feudal-vampire war! Of course the newly-turned vampire is determined to get revenge via his/her newly-trained powers!! [NOTE: You choose Male or Female Main Character] ART: The art is far from contemporary, but it IS S3XY!! The artwork appears almost "cutting-edge" at times, perhaps a little more as the game progresses, but it is HIGHLY EROTIC & AROUSING!! The same sentiment can also be said about backdrop-environmental artwork--mood enhancing & BEAUTIFULLY DONE!! Most background music sounds culturally nostalgic and also helps foster immersion!! STORY & CONSTRUCTION: Make no mistake--this AVN suffers from a rough English translation and sloppy UI construction! Despite that, the script is really VERY GOOD--in fact, it's INTRIGUING!! Even in the face of confusing decision arcs, users can still figure out how to navigate the branching story lines!! Ideally you shouldn't have to, but it IS possible!! Also, CHOICES DO MATTER in this fascinating turn of unpredictable events!! This plot has TEETH that DRIP with: Lust, Vengeance, Love, Romance, Innocence, and Compassion!! I played through THREE endings which were all satisfyingly conclusive!! So, it also has promising REPLAY VALUE!! SUMMARY: Darkness Revenge--especially with it's low price--is a highly INTRIGUING, sensual mix of mystery, suspense, action and EROTICA!! It's a really FUN & S3XY game that achieves remarkable levels of IMMERSION and Role Play, despite it's rough construction!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Vampire Saga!!!
Darkness Revenge is a mature, narrative-focused visual novel that places its emphasis on branching storytelling, character-driven drama, and player choice rather than traditional gameplay mechanics. Developed and published by Hematite, the game is clearly designed for an adult audience and commits fully to that identity, weaving explicit content directly into the structure of its plot rather than treating it as optional or superficial. What ultimately defines Darkness Revenge is not its mechanics, which remain deliberately simple, but the scope of its narrative paths and the degree to which player decisions influence character outcomes. The story centers on two protagonists, Jill and Nathan, both agents caught in a dangerous investigation involving corruption, power, and criminal influence. Early events quickly push the narrative into darker territory, as betrayal and near-fatal consequences force the characters into a situation where supernatural forces become intertwined with their quest for survival and revenge. The introduction of vampiric elements adds a layer of genre blending, mixing crime thriller themes with supernatural intrigue. This combination gives the game a pulpy, heightened tone that aligns well with its adult orientation, prioritizing intensity and escalation over grounded realism. One of the game’s most notable strengths is its branching narrative structure. Choices appear frequently, and while not every decision dramatically reshapes the story, many have long-term consequences that can lock or unlock entire routes. Characters can survive, die, or evolve in radically different ways depending on how the player navigates key moments. This creates a strong incentive to replay the game, as a single playthrough reveals only a fraction of the available content. The dual-protagonist approach further reinforces this replayability, allowing players to view events from different perspectives and uncover new information or motivations that were previously hidden. Presentation plays a significant role in delivering the experience. Darkness Revenge relies heavily on high-resolution artwork and animated scenes to carry emotional weight and reinforce its adult themes. The visual style is polished by indie standards, with expressive character designs and a large volume of images that help distinguish individual routes and outcomes. Animations are integrated directly into story progression, giving key moments more impact than static scenes alone. Audio elements, including music and sound effects, are used sparingly but effectively, helping to set mood rather than dominate the experience. Because the game uses a traditional visual novel structure, interaction is primarily limited to reading, making choices, and managing saves to explore different outcomes. There are no puzzles or mechanical challenges to distract from the narrative, which keeps the focus squarely on story and character relationships. For players who enjoy methodically exploring branching narratives, this structure works well, but it also means that pacing depends almost entirely on writing and scene variety. Some relationships and developments progress quickly, which may feel rushed to players seeking slower, more natural character arcs, though this approach aligns with the expectations of the genre and target audience. Technically, the game reflects its indie origins. Built on a standard visual novel engine, it generally performs reliably, though some players have reported occasional inconsistencies in how certain story flags trigger. Content balance can also feel uneven, with some narrative paths appearing more developed than others. This gives the impression of a project that is ambitious and content-rich, but still refining its overall structure and pacing. For completionists, careful save management becomes essential to avoid unintentionally cutting off unexplored routes. In the end, Darkness Revenge succeeds most clearly as a choice-heavy adult visual novel designed for players who value narrative agency and replayability. Its combination of supernatural elements, crime drama, and explicit content creates a distinct identity that will resonate strongly with fans of mature storytelling in the visual novel space. While it may not appeal to those looking for subtle romance, complex gameplay systems, or fully polished narrative balance, it offers a substantial amount of content for its audience and rewards players willing to explore its many branching paths. For fans of adult visual novels that prioritize consequence-driven storytelling and animated presentation, Darkness Revenge stands as a bold and content-dense experience. Rating: 7/10
I got this game for four bucks. I first played Jill – the female MC. She’s attractive in the most conventional way imaginable but she is attractive. And for a Ren’Py game it’s not bad. Not much in the way of animation. Lots of stockings to cover up the mediocre character rigging, no sex sounds, but at least the music is actual background music rather than horrible pop songs with singers and lyrics. And plenty of girl/girl scenes. Some of them bordering on erotic and could have been truly erotic but they’re all short, short, short with just little bits of animation here and there. Plus, at least one of the Love Interests has boobs smaller than the Graf Zeppelin. Two things, however, deeply disappointed me about this game. First, the Nathan path – the Male MC. Here the dialog turned to the usual cringe-provoking nonsense that tells me that the developer has never charmed a woman with his conversation. It makes no sense that Amanda and Annie fall for him. It’s painful. The second thing is something that has been bothering me for some time now in AVNs. Whiter than white love interests. I’ve nothing against woman of northern European origin or descent. I’d simply like some variety. I’d like a choice. Vampires, according to fantasy lore, have been around for thousands and thousands of years. Yet, for some reason, in every Vampire-themed AVN I’ve ever played Vampirism never spread to Asia, Africa, India, the Middle East or any place other than EUROPE! 🤔 Well…I don’t know squat about Vampire lore and I’ve only played four Vampire-themed AVNs but it’s a thing with all AVNs far more lately. I just don’t get it. The gals can be green, blue, part cat, part fox, part dog, part lizard, Elf, Demon, female shaped robots, they can furry tails, spiked tais horns, animal ears, all manner of things. But they can’t be black. The only black woman in this game is…wait for it…a janitor! 😆 What f-cking year is this?! 🫣 I’d give it two or three stars if this was GOG and had a five star review system instead of the binary one here.
Low Effort Vampire Drivel. I expected more from the game especially with its title but the plot's so thin supermodels are jealous of it.
