Butts The VR Exprience is a simple free joke game at first but I for one, prefer to look deep into video games and their meanings and what I found in this game made me tear up. I've never been so touched by a game in my life. Let me explain my point of view and why I find this game our species greatest achievement. The game opens up with stars in the sky, nothing. But then you decide to look up... The big bang happens, and earth gets birthed. And in front of you lays one of humanity's most important things in life. "BUTTS." This is explaining that without butts, we as humans would fall as everything stored up in us wouldn't be able to come out and we'd die quickly or have to find some really brutal way to get it out of us. The title fades, and in comes a blue man with the a field background. He seems to be your average man across the block. And he's partying, having the time of his life! He seems so happy with life; something a lot of us wish we could achieve I'm pretty sure. We always have so much stuff in our life and it's difficult a lot but instead of worrying about the bad stuff, why not party and have a good time? This was it's first life changing message. It really makes me feel like butts VR. Now, what happens next? he's dancing but... He comes across someone, sad and lonely. This part has been in my head for days. I've been thinking to myself "what could it mean?" but I think I finally get the idea the developers were trying to tell us. It's a symbolism for racism. Notice how he looks different; people judged him and made fun of him when really, he shouldn't. Just because he's differently colored doesn't make him bad. But what happens next? well, the dancing dude accepts the other one! He dances with him and farts confetti out of his butt. And he seems so happy! Finally, someone who accepts him! They start having a blast and starting dancing together and they fart confetti again and again. So much that they fly by literally being a farting confetti helicopter. And they fly off. This next scene, made me tear up. Never have I felt so emotion. They have a heart to heart and they share their happiness with each other, wanting to be friends. They decide to be friends and they hug each other, smiling knowing that the orange guy can finally feel at peace because he's found someone to talk to; someone to trust; someone to feel peace near. With every bad, comes every good. There's people that will put you down and make you feel worse in life but there's also people that will stick with you and be there for you. You're life isn't "nothing" you mean everything to the world. Even to people outside the world. The game says it's goodbye by giving the camera to the part where it shows it's butt. I was in tears by the time this happened; He smiled back and well, it goes to show; Peace is the answer and racism is something that should not be tolerated. Bless you blue man, for you have changed my life. Amen.
