The game is fun, addictive and challenging to say the least. Its quite fast paced but once you get into it and more familiar with the controls the more fun the combat gets and the more you'll begin to strategize as you fight your way to the boss!
Here is my review of Bushido Kensei: The Last Warrior. After playing this game for the whole day I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it! It starts out slow and you definitely die a lot at the beginning but the looting that the game introduces sets this one apart from other Rogue-Likes I have played. It really makes a big impact on your further progression with the game. You just want to get more and more better gear. Not only does it make your character stronger he starts looking cooler! Positives: The character moves great! Dashing and rolling mixes up combat flows nicely! Loot! Loot! And more Loot! Tough start but good progression keeps me coming back for more Cute pets Negatives: Some poor frame rates Needs more!! It would be amazing to have more playable characters and gears! Bosses need some work and would be nice to have pre damage ques before they attack. I love this game! I know it is still early access and there are still a few improvements needed in the game but it is already a strong game with lots of replayability already. Awesome work coming from one artist making this game!! Great Game! Definitely recommend picking up this one!
