Bush Hockey League

This is a great game! If you just want the puck to drop and play some hockey, this is fabulous, especially for the price point. It very much reminds me of the movie Slap Shot, which I think is at least part of the intent. It rewards violence on the ice and I love playing a game or two of hockey when I get home from work. I would love to see some more options, like a drafting option in between seasons, but other than that, I would definitely recommend this game.

Old Time Hockey isn’t trying to be EA SPORTS NHL — and that’s exactly why it works. This game throws modern realism out the window in favor of a scrappy, arcade-style hockey experience that’s loud, clunky, and full of charm. From the intentionally loose controls to the over-the-top brawls, Old Time Hockey captures the chaos of a bygone era. It plays like a tribute to the kind of couch multiplayer mayhem you remember from the PS2 days. The mechanics aren’t perfect — expect some janky moments here and there — but the fun outweighs the flaws. Where it really shines is in its story mode. You take control of a washed-up, bottom-of-the-barrel team fighting its way to redemption. The characters are ridiculous in the best way, and there’s a surprising amount of heart behind the humor. If you’re looking for a serious sports sim, this isn’t it. But if you want a break from the polished, corporate feel of modern titles and just want to bash heads, score goals, and laugh your ass off, Old Time Hockey delivers. Sad to see there will never be a sequel, I feel like if there was this game would just keep getting better with future iterations.

I enjoy the game play and the artwork. Not simulation but enjoyable nonetheless and achievements are attainable.

get old school hockey game i think this games really correct to how hockey was played in the 70s and early 80s

It's a decent hockey game, with bit of a learning curve to it. Story Mode had a bit of a rough scaling - early games being harder because of lack of players, but overall - it could've been worse. At least it isn't HUT.

Old Time Hockey is a great arcade style hockey game for Steam. The story is fun and engaging with different challenges to complete each game. The gameplay is fun, challenging, and addictive. No two games play out the same way. I'm 7 hours into Old Time Hockey and I am still learning new mechanics and methods for beating up the other team. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that Steam will ever get any NHL games. But Old Time Hockey is a fantastic arcade option with a cool 70's aesthetic. Great value!

i very like this game. but what can i do with crashes( sometimes) and lags somethimes. Sometimes there are these mistakes. But this game is worth it. Where can I find a solution? I play on medium 1280-720
