I'm trying to refund this game because I personally feel like it lacks instruction and I feel as if the quality isn't very good. The game is super cute in theory, and I waited for it to become available and I bought it instantly. I was disappointed which sucks. Whenever I move around the graphics become fuzzy. It marks itself to be single player as well as co-op, but even just the tutorial took more than one try in single player. Moving objects around for the second tutorial took money from me, meaning I had to waste time to move things around to reach other objects. It's obviously apart of the game for a reason, but it makes it difficult in my opinion. I had no idea moving objects around would cost money. You're meant to meet a specific amount of money under a time limit, and being negative in dollars due to moving items around isn't helpful at all. I just feel like the game needs more work.
I bought this game right off rip because I absolutely adore cute games and saw it was compared to Plate Up in terms of gameplay. The style of the game is as adorable as it looks, but unfortunately that is where the compliments end. The game is, right off the bat, fast paced. It's not a problem for me when I'm used to that type of gameplay, but anyone trying it out for the first time, or any kids that ask their parents for a cute game to play, will find it borderline brutal. I'm talking the sort of fast paced that even on level 1, even when I didn't miss any orders, I still got 2 stars because I didn't do it fast enough. Then, comes the actual navigation. It's full keyboard, which for some may be a turn off if you like the intuitive nature of being able to just use your mouse to click on things. It's not a hard pass for me, but it does feel a little frustrating when I'm having to WASD my way through equipment that needs to be purchased. Speaking of equipment, perhaps the worst offensive this game has committed is not even being in a fully playable state upon release. I could understand glitches happening towards the end of the game, but this game has the audacity to have, by level 2, a broken piece of equipment that you cannot interact with that is vital to actually being able to complete orders with. Even if this was just a glitch in the game, glitches should not be happening so blatantly for something as simple as 'put strawberries on ice cream'. Perhaps if the people that worked on this game take a lot more time to actually polish the game and make it more fluid to play, it would be worth playing. As it is right now? You're better off actually buying Plate Up or something else more well known if you want this sort of gameplay. It may not be as cutesy, but at least you can play it.

好可爱的游戏呜呜 小兔和甜品的天才搭配 使我的大脑放松 (话说小兔子走路真快)(因为只有自己一个人玩 所以忙到晕头转向呜呜)
the negative reviews for this game are actually really unfair at first when i started playing i thought the game was REALLY sweaty since i was trying to play it like you would for overcooked or something, however once i realized that this game is designed for PREP and you don't HAVE to have all the things on your menu/equipment in the kitchen it became really chill and i can see how it's being marketed as cozy give it a chance if it appeals to you, i played with controller and had little to no issue with movement and such ♡
This cafe game is really fun! I’ve been playing it in local co-op, and it’s super straightforward. While my very first session was a little tricky as the controls required a minor adjustment at first, that hurdle was quick and easy to overcome. If you enjoy baking and cooking simulation games, this one is definitely for you. The characters are incredibly cute, but keep in mind that they do have collision, so expect to bump into your co-op partner a lot! Hopefully there will be online co-op!
Way too fast paced for such a cute game. What I thought would be a cute cozy store game turned into a zoom around to do crap and I didn't even get past the cake portion. Once they added another set of equipment I was fed up. As cute as it is, be prepared to not be able to beat the game.
its fun (lie)
Just got this today for my birthday, after a little trial and error figured out how to move around and do things, being that it's just menu driven, for someone who doesn't have experience with a game like this prior, it is frustrating. In the second chapter, none of the toppings work but the cherries. Don't want to give up on this game and ask for a refund in less than 24 hrs because it's so cute.. but a little frustrated. Anyone else having this issue? And will this be fixed soon?
It's a 5/10.
And once they fix all the bugs and add more content, it will be a 7/10.
Pros:
+ cute art style and delicious-looking food + fun to play both solo and in duo + ability to decorate your bakery + ability to choose the difficulty + ability to choose the menu of the day. It's especially helpful when you don't like cooking a specific dish + cute achievements + it's made by one person (great job!)
Cons:
- pixel hunting. You’ll get used to it eventually, but at first, you’ll struggle with controlling your bunny. It can still be annoying when you try to select, say, the pink ice cream but end up picking the white one. Things like this will happen even in the later stages. - it's quite buggy. It's not a big deal, as the bugs don't prevent you from finishing a shift. Also, the dev updates the game pretty often, so there is a high chance the bugs I encountered have already been fixed by the time you're reading this. However, if you can't deal with minor bugs, I suggest buying the game now and playing it later once everything is polished. One bug made me laugh tho. - lack of content. I'd like to see some missions, NPCs, etc. For now, all you do is serve food, which can become repetitive for some people. - no Steam showcase support. I tried to add this game to my Steam profile showcase, but it isn’t available yet. This is likely a temporary issue for a newly released game, but it’s a bit sad that I can’t display these cute achievements on my profile for now.
Overall, it's a fun and short game for playing alone or with a friend/partner.
I wish the dev all the best! Keep it up!
