Bullet Heaven 2

One of the best bullet hell games ever made. Persistent progress, character customisation, risk-reward, & tons of innovative & perfectly balanced mechanics. Hidden gem. Absolute bargain.

Good game.

I think this was one of my first bullet hell/shoot 'em up games I've played, and it's pretty good! Normal is nice for a casual playthrough, Hard is for a more challenging one, and Heavenly wants me to tear my hair out! It's not super complex, just shoot the enemies while dodging bullets. There are 10 waves of enemies to complete the level, and up to 3 bonus waves which you'll get depending on how well you did during the level. You also have a chance to use a bomb for when you get hit, which the timing for is faster or slower depending on how many hearts to bombs you have. There's a shop for different characters, weapons, and costumes, along with cheats and handicaps which all change how you can play the game! Character dialogues aren't anything too special, but they're a bit funny. The music is also pretty good on its own! Not all of them are heavy hitters, but I like most of them, Powerful and Bright being a favorite. Overall a pretty fun game. If you you're new to the genre, than I think this could be a nice entry way into it :D Though if you're going for all achievements, it can be a bit brutal to pull off. ...there's also multiplayer but I haven't really done that cause it's local. There is an achievement tied to it, but really you can just have a dummy character on a seperate controller and just go through world 1 without getting hit.

love it. Most normal levels on heavenly get a lil too crazy for human standards but the bosses are super kosher :100:

My only complaint is that I can't buy it again. A wonderful game for those who enjoy extremely difficult-yet-fair bullet hell games games like Touhou and Picayune Dreams. Excellent music, art, and gameplay all packed into one game, with countless ways to challenge yourself or make the game easier, as well as fun characters that fans of the Epic Battle Fantasy series(another great selection of games) will fondly be familiar with. 10/10, Definite recomend.
