At its core this is a really good, very short game with very limited replayability. -theres only 80 waves in the entire game, once you get to the top of the fourth area thats about it -theres no post game scaling, no challenge modes, no infinite mode, nothing. if youve been the game once youve seen all there is to see -the art, gameplay, and music (oh my GOD the music is funkin GOOD) are great -beyond combo, theres really no scoring method? which was super odd to me, especially such an arcade style game. BIGGEST PRO: the games really polished and lovely to play, hear, and look at. BIGGEST CON: if youve beaten the game once, youve seen virtually everything. with all the bones laid out already i think it would be incredibly easy to add another 4 areas down the road, or maybe some challenge modes, just something to give this game value once you beat it. i think i just wanted more! selfishly in some ways but reasonable in others. its $10cad. its the price of a decent cheeseburger. and i for sure got more joy from this than a cheeseburger, i just really really wanted more after i was done.
