Fairly generic RPGMaker JRPG, but with some more effort put into the mechanics and writing than usual, even if the writing could have used some proofreading. Unfortunately, that effort came to making the difficulty rather obnoxious, with one of the early examples being that you are constantly poor, often too poor to afford recovery items, because monsters don't drop gold and just occasionally drop items you can sell for money... and then the second continent is the Land of Nothing But Poison, where you need poison antidotes or resting at an inn after almost every fight. Boss fights can also be fairly RNG-dependent, but that's another way of saying they're short and painful, which I don't dislike. This one is a tossup for me. Some parts of it were pretty good, like the amount of options for dealing with the final conflict, and the amount of times the game remembers optional things you did earlier, enough that I'd give it a thumbs-up for being an amusing short game, but then there was that second continent... ...eh, I'm feeling kind of merciful. Recommended, but with a warning that if you hate hugging up to a recovery point and grinding as much as I do, you might be very displeased with Broken Ties.
en basit yapıda bir rpgmaker oyunu maalesef oynanacak bir yanı yok
In Broken Ties, you get to choose from one of three character classes and embark on an epic quest to rid the land of The NWO. (No relation to the NWO in WCW / WWF as far as I know.) You level up, slay a variety of beasts and other creatures, collect their parts, and craft potions and elixirs to aid you on your journey. You can also find hidden artifacts throughout the land that will grant you special bonus abilities when you extract the power from them. Is your party's health and mana suffering? Stay at the local inn, or purchase some food and water to replenish their life force! THEN, back on the road to start slaying and questing once more! I won't give away too much of the story, but there are a couple of scenes that remind me a little of the movie Avatar, and we all know Avatar was a pretty good movie! I got a few hours of enjoyment out of Broken Ties, and the developer is very active and helpful if you have any questions!
Well, it says I played the game for 7 minutes three years ago, and I didn't refund it, so I guess that means I believed it would be good. The whole thing about the New Order and the revamped numbers really caught my interest. Will have to sink my teeth into it later.
A nice, fun little RPGmaker game. Same sex options for relationships are a plus. 20 lvl cap and a possible glitch that lets you max up your party by constantly fighting a minotaur.
This game is so much fun especially if you like older style RPGs. Make sure to look at the controls at the bottom of the page before starting.
