Broken Thorns: West Gate

Such a nice game, I played this for a while, I love how you reflect in mirror's, and the story is taking me closer to myself. When you consider all these questions on your own life, not just game progress, it can show you who you really are. How others see you. How weak you are. Worth the price.

It's a nice game, rather slow, so you have time to think about things, enjoy original pictures and a good soundtrack. While playing, you'll find many questions which will lead you to think about yourself. I recommend to go back to the same situations after finishing the game, and maybe you'll find something more.

Short but evocative Christian title. The self-reflection that the game pushes to you is very personal and I think that's very compelling. The storytelling is limited by its religious denomination but still encourages self-improvement. The art and music are very strong. Some situations have very striking imagery. The translation sometimes feels awkward, with a few typos. The game is also a bit buggy, I think my save got locked out of a scene or too.

Inspired art, feels cozy.

Beautiful hand-drawn artstyle accompanied by similarly wonderful music. There's some interesting ideas in there too. Yes it's very rough, clunky and clearly someones first game but there's a lot to appreciate in this passion project.

Príjemná hra, plná momentov na zamyslenie sa a sebareflexiu. Výnimočné je naraziť v tomto pokročilom veku na hru, ktorá nabáda k zdravej morálke. Gameplay tak 2-3 hodiny ideálne. Niektoré interakcie trochu blbnú, preto by som dal tak 4/5, ak sa vyriešia tak je to jedinečná 5/5 záležitosť.
