Title: Broken Lands: Tower Defense – A journey through different realms As an avid fan of tower defense games, I was eager to immerse myself in the world of Broken Lands and was intrigued by the prospect of varied maps and unique defenses inspired by fantasy cultures. As I played, I immersed myself in a realm, from desert to water worlds with islands that served as battlefields against countless enemies. Here's my take on the game: One of the standout features of Broken Lands is its diverse maps and environments. From the moment you start, you'll be transported to different locations in the game world, each with its own atmosphere and challenges. Whether you're defending yourself against hordes of enemies amid desolate deserts or holding your own on islands of an ancient civilization, the variety ensures gameplay stays fresh and engaging. Another highlight are the game's towers and defenses. Inspired by the rich spectrum of characters and cultures in the saga, players are presented with a range of options, from fire towers to ice towers. Each tower brings its own unique abilities and upgrades, adding a layer of strategy as you adapt your defenses to the challenges ahead. However, the weaknesses of “Broken Lands” lie in the soundtrack. While the music initially sets the mood for epic battles, it becomes more monotonous and annoying as the game progresses. This is a missed opportunity as a more dynamic soundtrack could have improved the immersive experience of defending against waves of enemies. However, for fans of tower defense games, Broken Lands still offers an entertaining pastime. The satisfaction of earning rewards and resources to upgrade your towers and defenses adds depth to the gameplay and makes every victory feel earned and satisfying. In summary, if you are a fan of tower defense games and enjoy exploring different worlds full of unique challenges, Broken Lands is worth a look. Despite its musical flaws, its addictive gameplay and variety of maps and defenses make it a worthy addition to any tower defense enthusiast's library. 6/10
I would appreciate if you follow our AWG curator
Sorry, I didn't like it very much even though aesthetics are nice and clearly some effort has been put into it. Biggest problems are level balancing and pacing. Devs needs to do some dogfooding and play through their own game start to finish, because those are not subtle problems. Music and sounds are pretty bad (listen to the trailer above). Hover-to-pickup-resources mechanics are awful and the coin-rain is like closing popups on windows 95. Scaling-problems are bad. Even if you like TD's you probably should wait for 60%-90% discounts or until the game has been improved.

Good and challenging tower defense, The one thing im missing is the ability to see when you completed harder and heroic challenges, it doesnt show that you completed the stage at those difficult. =) Otherwise i like the game alot
ENG Broken Lands - Tower Defense Game Review The game is set in the Universe of Broken Lands, we will defend the base in five lands inspired by the elements; Water, Fire, Earth, Nature, Air. When it comes to towers, there are 5 types of them, 1 for each element. Each of them has 3 basic levels and 2 specializations to choose from. The mechanism for unlocking tower diagrams is interesting and well-thought-out. It is a kind of skill tree. which can be found at the architect's. Additionally, we have the Academy at our disposal, where there are many interesting skills to buy, and the Quartermaster, where we can improve our base. The gameplay consists of defending the base against incoming monsters. Some boards are quite simple, others requiring several approaches and reflection on strategy. Fortunately, we start the game with free abilities; Meteor Shower, Pentagram and Freeze, you have to save because the pool of free uses is limited and each additional use is paid for gems, which are very valuable. A cool element is the ability to expand the base to 3 levels and repair it. that's right... repair is very important, so it's nice to have some resources in reserve, because the monsters explode from time to time and can make a mess. Fortunately, it is possible to repair the turrets, not just the base. The plot is interesting and at times funny, it tells the story of an architect who wants to fulfill his construction dream. Each subsequent board reveals new Architect adventures and gameplay challenges. That's all from me, discover the rest for yourself, I had a lot of fun and I recommend the game to other fans of the tower defense genre. My rating 8/10 PL Recenzja Gry Broken Lands - Tower Defense Rozgrywka jest osadzona w Uniwersum Złamanych Krain, obronę bazy będziemy przeprowadzać w pięciu krainach inspirowanych żywiołami; Woda, Ogień, Ziemia, Natura, Powietrze. Moja ocena 8/10
