Very short but very pretty experience. You can knock this game out in less than half an hour even if you get a little lost finding the items needed to progress. There are only 2 puzzles at most and very few obstacles standing in your way to the end. You are an un-named woman that seems to be a castaway on a few islands in the middle of nowhere, yet you don't seem to be too concerned about getting back to civilizatiion. You are instead looking for 4 different skulls stored inside treasure chests scattered around the islands and ocean to unlock a door for whatever reason. But this door doesn't open with just 4 skulls, you also need to find something else to open the door up which leads to a creepy but barely visible catacomb. And... that's it. Yes, that's all there is to the game. Although it still qualifies as a game even though extremely short, I feel as though it's just a demo for something bigger. Reason being the ending. Only problem I see is that besides drowning, you don't have much on your tail besides 2 or 3 sharks. All in which are very friendly and won't lay a fin on you. They may seem very threatening but after completing the game, I attempted to get eaten by a shark but to no avail. Hostiles are definitely anything but! You can find all 4 skulls without even witnessing a shark nearby. Nonetheless it's a nice little experience albeit very short, but for a price of "Free", there's not much I expected besides nice visuals which the game does have. If you have 10-20 minutes to spare and are looking for something random to do, this isn't awful.
There are no jellyfish in the game
not that i really understand or know what the point of this is but its beautiful to play
"BREATHE" is a pointless non-game tech demo. Swim around a bunch of what are almost certainly flipped/stock assets in this "Sandbox". What do you do in the game? There's a couple of objects to find, but the whole thing is done in 15 minutes. Frankly, whenever a "developer" describes a product as an "experience" instead of a game, you know you're gonna have a bad time. The game graphics look better than you might expect, but that's just because it looks like some or all of them are "borrowed" from asset stores or wherever. Gamers can tell... and it comes across as insincere. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too. You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality product, this comes across more as a delusion of grandeur than anything else. This agreement includes questionable requirements that may attempt to revoke consumer law protections that gamers expect to have, which is also highly problematic. Developers must learn they are here to serve gamers, not control them. I had my cat walk over the keyboard while the EULA was displaying, which fixed that problem for me. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at less than 100 concurrent players, they couldn't even break three figures, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. It's important to note that, despite this being such a low quality product, there's a number of positive reviews that all appeared immediately after the game launched, from suspiciously inactive Steam accounts that have reviewed almost no other games apart from this. Take the review score of this game with a grain of salt. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
