ok!!!
I wish we could leave neutral reviews. After months of waiting I finally met Aya. It’s on me, but I expected her to talk as she guided me. Maybe have some tea or do gentle stretches or something. I’d seriously built up this great experience in my head. And that is on me. There is a Meet Aya part that explains how to breathe peace with text, but the experience itself felt a bit flat. A lot of what is explained on the store page should be in the game somehow. If they are striving for a peaceful world, have a bit of that in the game. I was actually a tad confused as to what the point was. Yes, breathe peace, but why? Also. Aya is really cute but she looked a bit one dimensional on my Rift. Shading maybe? It’s a nice attempt and a noble cause to bring about a peaceful world, but it feels lacking. If the mission is to have all things living in animistic harmony that honestly needs to be explained so the user walks away with a good idea of why they did the exercises. I noticed through research that there was a pop up experience somewhere with books and hosts? The app would make since there as everything would be explained nicely I think. But alone there is something lacking. Still, it’s free. Really nice attempt though!

Breathing Simulator
I love the idea of a meditation app. The scene is relatively peaceful. But the controls (or lack of them) feels really frustrating. Once you start the "story" you have absolutely no control over anything and can't see your controllers. It floats you through the air while you're unable to move, which is nausea inducing. Then none of the buttons or controls works until the whole scene is over. I wavered on the rating, but decided to give it a thumbs up purely because I feel like there's a really cool idea here, and it's free. I hope the developer adds new scenes where you stay on the ground the whole time, and also gives players the ability to see your own hands and be able to quit using your controllers.
10/10 Very Relaxing
Pretty simple stuff really... hang out in a snowy forest with a panda and meditate... just like in real life!
I love this VR, Breathe Peace World, besides being wonderfully made, it gives you a sense of peace. I hope they make more VR like this one, wonderful.
