About
The breathtaking battle racing game has finally broken through the limitations of the race, and has been completely revamped as an all-rounded robot competitive sports game. Robot customization now has even more freedom and more options than ever!
In destruction, there is beauty.
BREAK ARTS III (BA3 for short) is an action game built on the concept of Comprehensive Mech-Customizing Competitive Sports that features the following:
Incredibly detailed customization options, where anyone can make their very own unique robots
Strategic decisions that challenge you to customize robots suitable for the terrain, environment, and game plan, and also put your skills as a pilot to the test
Stunning graphics and a photo mode with all sorts of handy functions

Compete in tournaments, earn prize money, and unlock over 200 modules, plugins, and pre-set frames.
If you're having a hard time defeating your rivals, it's time to customize your robot. Create your very own custom combinations and strategies to tackle every situation, and you'll emerge victorious!
What awaits at the end of all your battles...?
Race:
A pure racing mode without combat.
Will you build the most lightweight robot possible, or add every thruster you can to blast across the circuit?
Battle:
There's no determined race track in Battle Mode. Move around the field freely to fight against your rivals.
You lose points if you get knocked out, so you'll have to avoid your opponents' attacks while taking them down!
Battle Racing:
A sport that combines racing and battling.
Final rankings are based on points earned from race position, how many racers you have eliminated, and how many times you have been eliminated.
To compete in these matches, build the best mech you can according to match rules.
Explosive speed, or overwhelming power? Your choices and reasoning will influence your chances of success.
You can customize your mech in your own style by equipping modules to the various connectors on your basic frame.
By making full use of special plugins and joints, it's possible to put together complex builds that summon special weapons, remote-controlled attack systems, or wings that deploy according to your movements.
Weapons are not bound by set positions and can be equipped freely. They can of course be shoulder-mounted and even equipped to the back, with the loadout alone greatly impacting battle tactics.
The endless customization from previous BREAK ARTS titles has been expanded even further. Color settings, bullet types, and animation settings can all be customized. Plus, mech propulsion is now controlled by the direction of thrusters. Experiement through trial and error and build the ultimate mech to suit your style.

In Online Mode, you can adjust the game modes and field, as well as the strength of gravity, energy recovery amount, and environmental settings such as temperature. Fit your mech against players from across the world, and hone your skills while refining your battle tactics and customization together.
Show off a mech tuned for maximum performance, or outwit your opponents with something unconventional. Heated battles and competing strategies await you online.
Plus, the new co-op feature allows multiple players to pilot one mech. Allocate roles and work together as a team in this unique cooperative experience.
Supported Player Count (Online Mode): 2 to 6 players
(Offline Mode): 1 player
In this mode, you will compete with rivals around the world for the top times, scores, and enemy takedowns, while pursuing the best solutions for mech customization and operation techniques.
If you surpass a set score, you may even win prize money depending on your results. Additionally, online rankings are reset each month, allowing players to constantly aim for the top in fresh circumstances.
In Diorama Mode, all parts are unlocked from the start. You can build your dream mech in any way you like without worrying about performance limitations.
Whether you're chasing style or aiming for laughs, the choice is yours. You can take photos of your final build in Photo Mode and share them on social media to show off your designs.

Absolutely fantastic and addicting game. My only complaint is some limitations with content and building, as once you’re done with the campaigns and time attacks, there’s no free or custom “race box” mode or sandbox to play around with on your own without friends for PVP. The game Needs a free play and more heads, as well as a few more accelerators that are small and serviceable for nooks and crannies like some of the detonators for maximizing mobility like a NEXT from armored core. heads having no function and no benefit for adding them is a little strange. Like giving them a bit of radar range and locking speed would be fitting, and still wouldn’t require a head. Same with hands, if they gave some structure and some EN recovery or heat capacity would be nice to see, making whether to add heads and hands or not more of a strategic decision rather than a purely aesthetic choice. More leg types like a real heavy biped and maybe a reverse joint would also be very nice to see, the leg variety is little to none. A classic quad or proper tank legs would also be exceptional.
关卡难度设计及其不均衡,且限制条件使得玩家无法随心所欲的创造
Update "2.0" neutered the building system. Prior to this update, you had to use your brain to engineer a mech comfortable enough for you, but also to handle the courses presented. The game was a puzzle, but also a blank canvas that encouraged you to think outside the box and go wild. Now the game was "balanced" into a generic racing game that still has great customization..... that does nothing much in terms of movement mechanics. Accelerators parts, aka the continuous thrust system of this game, no longer are "parts" for placing thrusters in cardinal directions to improve your handling like how common sense would dictate. Instead, Accelerators are a generic stat for forward momentum, regardless of whatever direction you place them. What does this mean? In this mech racing game, you can no longer challenge yourself to engineer a machine to maintain lets say 400km/h around sharp bending corners with smart engineering and skill. Instead, the game wants you to slow down and play by the rules which I also have no idea how they work. "But you can control yourself left and right with detonators!" If you don't know, a detonator is basically blasting yourself like a bullet in a given direction, detonators prior to 2.0 acted like a hard assist in tandem with the accelerators. but now I have to flip a coin hoping the detonator doesn't send me flying at Mach 10 too far off the track because now I have to play the game in a rigid, unnatural way that makes zero sense at all. Btw if you want to use Centaur legs in said crazy, ocean levels, you are basically dead. If you are going to buy this, and I do love this game, go through the headache of getting patch 1.0.7 i believe and play it offline so it cannot be updated. Prior to 2.0, you can make absurd, funny and out the box thinking build and great customization. Post 2.0 you have a mech game with great customization. Up to you.
great game but PLEASE add double jointed legs. i can make my mech a battleship or a centaur, but not double jointed
BREAK ARTS III:
This is probably one of the best mech building game... best mech game in general, even. It does have some performance issue without the performance mod though. (its in the guides!) oh, and...
be aware of the invalid coordinate.
The game is cool and competent in many ways, 8ut at least on my computer it still had significant moments of hitching and general poor performance. Hoping that over time it'll 8e improved 8ut right now it's a 8it hard to play, even in the mech designer.
Such an awesome game, there is so much room for creativity in the mech builder and the gameplay is super fast and feels great. I'm kind of surprised that this is such a hidden gem, although I do get that this sort of niche genre of high octane racing mixed with insane customizability is not for everyone. If you like building gunpla and like high speed gameplay, you should give it a try. I feel this game just needs a whole lot more love, it needs even more customization options, more maps, and more game modes.
Very fun game with a lot of customization
