Braise Satan

I actually had a lot of fun playing this, it's a cute dark humor concept and the controls where surprisingly smooth. Good job!

Neat concept with some glaring issues... I don't know if my game is bugged or what, but there are several problems: Settings menu only accessible after intro cutscene... but only audio and control sensitivity menus are listed even then, and two others (one being graphics) briefly appears but is unclickable when choosing audio.... which wouldn't be an issue except the default (UE5 engine) settings run very poorly performance-wise. More glaringly, and again I'm not sure if it's bugged or what, but the recipes shown in the store page about screenshots just don't exist... I get the same recipe every 1-2-3/3 meal course: an eyeball smoothie, then eyevacado toast, then fried imp. The only random/difference is how cooked the meat is supposed to be, and I would swear my first (w/ tutorial) playthough said tomato sauce was a thing. Other than that, for example, mushrooms and potatoes [besides tutorial] are never used and "reconstructed salad" doesn't show up anywhere, nor fries past tutorial. Overall the entire gameplay lasts all of 3-4 minutes after your first 5-6 minute run (and only then because I couldn't figure out how to make tomato sauce and ran out of time, and every run of that recipe after said slug sauce). And is exactly the same every time. A neat premise (first person overcooked) but abandoned super early in development, I guess? There's an itch.io version that's even farther back in development, so also a dead end.

Игра "Braise Satan" — это настоящий мясной угар, который заставляет почувствовать себя эдаким демоническим шеф-поваром, готовящим адский ужин. Визуал игры просто умопомрачительный, каждый враг — это произведение искусства, которое приятно будет превратить в фарш. Геймплей — это чистый адреналин, ты жонглируешь атаками, уклонениями и спецприемами с такой легкостью, что кажется, будто сам дьявол тебе помогает. Музыка тоже под стать — тяжелый рок, который идеально дополняет кровавую баню на экране. Сюжет, хоть и не самый глубокий, но вполне себе затягивает, заставляя пройти игру до конца, чтобы увидеть, как главный герой разберется со всеми своими врагами. И, конечно, боссы — это отдельная песня, каждый из них — настоящий вызов, который заставит попотеть, но победа над ними приносит невероятное удовлетворение. Короче, если любите кровавые и драйвовые игры, то "Braise Satan" — это ваш выбор.
