땅땅! 팡~ 철컥,철컥, 팡~팡~ 철컥, 팡~
This is a very fun indie rouge-like. The concept itself I think is wroth the price, and although it's very short once you beat the game the first time, there is a lot of challenges post game you can try out. my only complaint is that the latter bosses past the first floor don't really have you doing a dance in beat. Not to say that ruins the experience, but I'd hope for a more rhythm based boss rounds that force you to think about the dodging and shooting at the same time to the music. But hey, your shooting demons to some of the sickest metal soundtracks I've heard in a while, so I'll say this game is worth the time. At least experience it, it's a good time.
Holy moly. Tough as nails, frustrating like traffic jam and fun as hell.
Bit easy but very fun
The game itself is good but this rythm detection is not. I've been doing music for 7+ years, I know how to click on rythm. Even with the setting set to loose it doesn't really do a good job.
I think the game is fun, if you like rythim games such as "Patapon", and shooters like "Doom" and were searching for a mix of both. However, the game feels incomplete, it just gets boring killing the same boss with slight diferences due to modifiers, and the ending is always the same. When i say "[blank] slot" it means that i dont remember the name of the item but it goes in the mentioned slot. Item descriptions are dumb: Sometimes they get straight to the point, "Speed up", "Extra life" or "Armor regeneration". Some of them dont explain what the item does fully: "Legs slot": Enemies drop coins. (They do but with a chance when damaged, not on death). "Loki's Bargain": Sacrifice slot for stats. (Gives +1 to all stats and permanently increases all stats for each floor completed with, and -1 to all stats when unequipped) And others dont explain anything at all: "Midgard Bracelet": Pure goodness (The same as "Loki's Bargain" but also gives +25 max hp) There are also some bugs that can become infuriating, such as "Draugr" doing its "dodge to the sides" attack instantly or the dodge warning not appearing, "Yimir" being able to spawn as a cloned or crazed variant (Or even both) makes it usually a death sentence unless you can deal a lot of damage (which is very unlikely in the second floor) (all of theese become even more obnoxious when trying to complete the game as one of the two characters that die if they take damage. For the items, some of them are just better versions of others, we have: Shield that gives you armor when you stand still and then we have shield that gives you armor without requirements and no apparent downsides compared to the one mentioned before. "Loki's Bargain" gives +1 to all stats and also pemanently upgrades all stats by 1 when you complete a floor. and then we have "Midgard" Bracelet which does the exact same but also gives + 25 max hp. Shield slot "Cursed iron" that gives you extra damage at the cost of turning all of your health to armor and we also have shield slot "Face of Death" that duplicates all the damage you deal with no downsides whatsoever. Some items are the same as others: "Memento mori" and a "Shield slot item" both do Cleaving. Spells: Heal, heal 25 hp and recharges over time (very slowly and its boring, i am not going afk for this), and then there is Heal, but over time, wich heals 25 hp but requires to kill enemies (Or complete rooms, i forgot). And the sheer amount of items that just increase speed: "Legs slot", speed and range up. "Legs slot", speed up. "Legs slot", speed multiplier. "Helmet slot", speed up. "Hand slot", speed up. "Ultimate slot", speed up. I may have forgotten some. Some items and spells become useless under some conditions: Explosive bullets and other effects dont do anything if not using a hitscan weapon (Projectiles). "Fluffy" (Reload empowers) doesnt affect "The best defense"/Unlimited ammo weapons. ALL armor and health (and other misc such as Reflect damage, Better healing, Shield to health or Damage reduction) related things become useless with characters that die in one hit (Which, yeah, i understand its meant to be hard, but if more than half of all the spells and items and spells have to do with health or armor, the chances of getting somewhat useful items or items that do anything at all are low, which i also belive is very annoying). I did have fun, but there are a lot of problems and i dont know if there will be any updates as the developers seem really excited about another game they made (which is this game but as Enter the Gungeon). If i forgot or missunderstud an item's use, tell me about it.
