Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 25 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

For the price, it's a nice Chess game with a charming personality and nice music and aesthetics. I feel like the tune will be stuck in my head tomorrow. Lots of cool fun facts about the games you're solving. I only encountered one bug where the text glitched out, but it wasn't a big problem.
Each game in the series gets more challenging. Glad I have a loving teacher
Mid-Century USSR Championships follows the same exact format as the prior early century game, but with games and puzzles from later on. There really isn't too much difference, so my same gripes still apply to this one as the prior one. I still don't like how some puzzles lacked further explanation or any sort of free play mode so that I can actually understand why some things are the way they are. There were a handful of positions that I still didn't understand well after the explanation.

Sempre divertida a forma de aprender e visualizar as jogadas!
I was very curious to know the Soviet champions' chess moves, but a pity that I can't play real chess, besides my lack of skill, this game is extremely interesting for those who want to master the best chess moves.
BOT.vinnik Chess: Mid-Century USSR Championships is one of around six educational Chess puzzle games where you play subsets of chess games under guidance from a slightly snarky 2D retro pixel robot. The purpose is to teach advanced Chess stratagems to the player. Playing this game and understanding the puzzles will definitely make you better at chess. While the puzzles are fun, and the core design work, especially the puzzle selection and presentation and narration of the puzzles is very good, the implementation here is not so good. Each game only has around 20 short puzzles, and it's unclear why this had to be launched as 6 separate games. Did the publisher really want to pay Valve $600 instead of the $100 required to launch a game? The visual and interface quality is very low, as well, with monochrome 2D retro pixel art making everything look ugly. This is the kind of thing that really could have been done in a browser or even just a Youtube video, so charging money for it on Steam seems overly ambitious.
It's great absolute recommend
Clearly this game was made by someone who loves chess. Good way to practice chess in a lighter and more fun way. well done!
All of the games in this series I have played so far are an absolute delight, and I highly recommend this to beginner chess players as the 'hint' system is very useful but doesn't give the whole answer away.
