Loaf can't do it alone: Meet new friends during your adventure, each with their own abilities and personality. Use their unique skills to overcome threats and obstacles whether in fights or when exploring. Together, you’ll engage with varied NPCs, take on side-quests, and find treasures!
Find equipable weapons and upgrades by exploring and completing quests. Each weapon and buddy attack has a button prompt associated with it that you'll need to successfully execute if you want to deal maximum damage! However, make sure you have the right weapon for the job since enemies can have a resistance and a weakness.
While you fight, your dragon buddy Dub, who lets you save your progression while adventuring, will stream your fights to a fake audience with his little laptop! Gather more viewers and answer their demands to get rewards!

For what it is, it's a fun casual game with an engaging story and interesting characters that makes the world come alive. Unfortunately, there are some things that are a bit buggy in the game, such as escaping enemies, shield timings, and platforming, that brings down the gameplay experience. The battle system is too ambitious for its own good, with mechanics, such as elements and RP, being situational to down right useless. But looking past these issues, it was fun to bonk at enemies, explore the world, use different boons, RE4-style backpacking for weapons, puzzle solving, and engaging in funny banter. The story may be simple, but it was very fun reading about its lore and how it transforms the simple story into something slightly nuanced. Overall, there are bits where you just have to tolerate, but they do not detract me from enjoying the game. I still plan to complete the achievements after reaching the ending.
Fortemente recomendado pros amantes do gênero.
I'd give it a 7/10. This game definitely has some noticeable issues. There are quite a few bugs that make playing frustration since you have to restart the game to get rid of them. Overall its worth a playthrough if you enjoy Paper Mario.
This game should been left in the oven a bit more, it felt rushed for sure, The combat is flawed in the sense where your partner for the most part will not take any damage unless you use the defend action during their turn, while yes you can switch the partner to be in front, you will lose your action with the MC and if you use an attack with the partner they will not stay in front making the whole point of switching pointless, not only you lose on an action with the MC the sole reason to switch which is usually make the partner take some of the damage instead of MC. Then we have some of the status effects where they effect the enemies attack speed by making it either slower or faster, it's the most useless effects I ever seen and its more detrimental since it can throw your block timing off. The Story didn't stick out, it felt short and rushed specially at end. The music and the areas are nice at least.
My favorite Paper Mario like game on steam, Adds some unique mechanics I really like (backpack management, damage/element types, etc) and keeps some classic mechanics (Badges, partners, etc). Has a few considerable bugs, but I really enjoyed my time with it!
This is a fun RPG style game that reminds me a bit of Paper Mario. It's got easy to use controls and a fun storyline.
I WANT to love this game. The characters are adorable, the story is light hearted yet fun. The gameplay is fun in theory. It could be great. But currently, there are TOOOOOO many game breaking bugs. There are SEVERAL bugs that get you hardstuck in various locations. There is a bug with basic gameplay and you cannot change out characters to tank attacks (it is stated you are supposed to be able to do this in the tutorial!) They need to fix these issues but they have stopped responding to the issues it seems. It's sad but just go play a different paper mario genre game and stay away from this game. EDIT: I just 100%ed the game. Yes the game is buggy as crap. But the game won me over by allowing me a build that made the bugs irrelevant. The story is quite cute, the combat while pretty basic is fine once you get to a point. The bug regarding achievements is gone, I was able to get them all. So, while this is a flawed game because of weird bugs, the music, story, and characters won me over. If you guys make another jrpg...please take the time to fix bugs!
This is super cute and I've really enjoyed it so far. I'm probably only 1/4 of the way through. I plan on finishing, just saving it for another time like a special treat. There's so much to explore and do, the menu / your notebook is complex but it all makes sense, the map is dense with information but the story flows easily. This is a world you can really get lost in. A lot like a fairy tale with teaching lessons about the right thing to do and the power of friendship and family and things don't go as planned but that's what life is all about.
TL;DR - Honestly one of the hidden gem of the indie market. Bought for like 5€ in the Tinykin bundle (can't recommend both of them enough really), and I had a blast for the last 20h. Ofc it's not perfect, there are some technical oopsie regarding the camera, menuing, KBM support (controller works fine), but the whole experience was very enjoyable. The writing is super funny. I'm super fan of dad jokes and puns and they went all-in on it. The characters are cute, charming and all. The tone of this game is very lighthearted, just like a bedtime story and it's very refreshing. There are a lot of references everywhere, some are very funny, some are pretty nerdy. Visually and musically, the game is a wonder. I really really like the visuals and a lot of musics are, if not bangers, at least very catchy. The game doesn't last long enough to be bored of any environement or music anyway. My main issue here is the combat and the game balance. I played on Normal difficulty and wished I played on Hard. The game gives you a lot of tools to fight but does not give the same tools to the ennemies, even your companions tbh. The Equipments feature is very flexible and I liked that a lot, but Tipain is so powerful that no Companion is needed really, especially when you unlock every type coverage possible with the weapons.
