About
It’s finally here: Bop It! The Video Game.
“Featuring the classic Bop It! gameplay: follow the commands to BOP IT, TWIST IT, PULL IT and stay in the game.”
The animated backgrounds, Shapes, City, Space, and Office may look cute but don’t let those happy aliens and goldfish distract you! One glance the other way and it’s game over! “Ooooh so close!”
Each original song gets faster and faster… and even faster the longer you stay in the game. Do you have what it takes? “Focus. Concentrate.”
Once you’ve gotten comfortable with CLASSIC, give EXTREME a try and add SPIN IT and FLICK IT to the mix. It’s only two more commands, why is it so much harder? “Ehhhhh! Try again!”
Think you’re good? See how you stack up against the world on the Global Leaderboards, beat your buddies on the Friends Leaderboards, and log new high scores on your Local Leaderboard. “You’re on fiyaaaa!”
Are you better than your friends? Prove it with local multiplayer.
Go head-to-head in One-on-One
See who drops the streak first in Pass It.
Compare your session scores in Party Mode
“Hot Bop It! action!”
Earn stickers to decorate your notebook with each in-game achievement. “Reflexes of a jungle cat!”
Think you can stay in forever? Great – because the best part of Bop It! The Video Game is that the levels never end: as long as you can stay in, the game will keep going. “Look at you! Rockin’ the Bop It!”

I think its an alright game. It could be better tbh, but for what it is its nice. Wish there was more things to do in it.
Nobody has come to check on me in a while.
I'll be real. When I first saw this game on Youtube, I was one of those people who were initially like "Why do I wanna buy this game when I can just get a physical one from Target?" Functionally, this game just plays like any other classic and extreme Bop-It, so I completely get why people turned their head away. That being said, what caught my eye (or ear, in this case) in the trailer was the music. My curiosity was telling me to try this game out. Long story short, there was no need to make the music slap as hard as it did. It made your typical Bop-It game more rhythmically fun to play along to. And don't get me started with the main menu music. This game knew it needed to captivate the player right as they start playing. Huge props to 2Melo, the composer, for making the tracks! If you're looking for a Bop-It game to bob your head to the music, this is the one you should definitely get. I'd also say the normal price is worth it (as of this review, the physical Bop-It is around $16 on the Hasbro website). But if there a sale, definitely go for it.

Highly recommend this game if you want to waste your entire life pressing 3-5 buttons repeatedly... Also if you like hectic sound traxxxxx. I do not recommend this game for the following reasons - if you have an actual life - if you have a family, - if you value your time - if you do not like pressing the same 3-5 buttons on repeat until you are sweating as if you have just worked out for the past 4 hours at the gym. In all seriousness though, as a blind person it is unfortunate that screen reader accessibility or menu narration has not been implemented given the appeal to blind people as it is a sound based game. Definitely an awesome game so far.
