In Book Bound you run a small charming bookshop in by a bustling city. In this pixel art game you do everything that is required to run a bookshop, from decorating to helping customers and of course selling books.
Choose from a range of items to decorate your shop
Decorate your shop based on genre themes (SciFi, Fantasy, Romance, Thriller and Non Fiction)

I don't normally write reviews on games, but I had a fun time! It's very cozy and who doesn't dream about owning a bookshop??? I have noticed some issues while playing the game though and I hope they get fixed in the future. First of all, I had closed out of the game briefly while my shop was open, which caused several NPCS to be stuck inside. The game eventually did fix itself but one continued to remain stuck through my entire playthrough. The second thing I've noticed was the Voomba. Though I did enjoy the task of cleaning up? I thought this was great, so I didn't have to prioritize cleaning, over trying to get more costumers. However, I noticed half the time, it didn't work and I ended up still having to clean the messes myself. All in all though, I did enjoy my time with this game and I would recommend it, if you're looking for something that's relaxing and a little mindless!
I absolutely love this game. It's the epitome of cozy gaming. The story line helps move the game along without being overwhelming with too much information. It's so easy to upgrade and earn new furniture as you continue to sell. It's relaxing and fun while still having goals and things to do. Would def recommend.
It was fun for a bit, but got annoying after a while. Now that I have more books, it is getting really confusing because all the books start to look similar. I have no idea what book I'm holding. This game is also very slow. I get abou 10 customers in the shop a day, half of those leave without any purchase but they nearly all leave a mess. I'm all for a good challenge, but this game is going nowhere (for now).

Very cozy and entertaining! I typically wear on games quickly and this game kept me entertained for 5 hours straight without issue. IMO worth the $7 USD it's asking for normally, and well worth it for a few bucks on sale. Perfect to escape the chaos of an airport or doctors office for a few hours, great for handheld gaming!
